Exciting news

Morning comes, and as is usual after a night together, Sanni is wrapped around you. The difference this time, is that Lylah is wrapped up against you, making a surprisingly comfortable three way cuddle. It takes some doing, but you manage to loosen the lamia’s coils enough to wriggle free, although you hear her quietly giggle as you do, which makes you doubt that she’s actually still sleeping. Regardless, you leave the pair to the comfortable bed as you stumble into the shower.

Normally you would have to endure a bit of good natured teasing after a wild night, but today seems different. As you head into the dining room, the girls are all gathered around the table, chatting excitedly. Hayley is the first to see you come in.

“There you are! Big news, Greg, apparently today’s the big day!”

You look at her, confused. “What does that mean? Did I miss something?”

Naia giggles. “Too busy fucking their brains out, you missed the announcement!”

Aisha laughs. “That’s not fair, sis, you’re just jealous you weren’t invited.”

There’s enough truth to that to shut her up, as she crosses her arms and pouts. Marin laughs, coming to your aid. “While you were sleeping off your sex binge, a messenger came around. Apparently that ‘golden magus’ is going to arrive here today.”

Helja nods. “From what I understand, there was a battle at the border, between his party and a group of demons. Apparently he and his party will arrive this afternoon. Everyone is going to go see! The council declared it a holiday so that no one will miss it.”

Though they’re trying to stay calm, it’s clear that both dwarven women are extremely excited about this. It’s understandable, they’ve lived with these prophecies their whole lives, and seeing them finally take shape is a big moment. Their excitement is infectious, and though the raptor sisters and you have only been there for a comparatively short time, the interest is obvious in their faces as well.

You chuckle. “I suppose I should wake the sleepyheads. They’re not going to want to miss this either.”

Naia jumps up immediately. “I’ll do it!”

Before you can stop her, she races off, giggling. Around the table, everyone laughs and shrugs. Marin grins, watching the excitable raptor girl vanish down the hall.
