he decides to go with Aerith

Cloud sighed, failing to see many other options. He barely had the slightest idea where he was, and who knows who else would show up if he elected to stay put. Besides, Aerith lady seemed trustworthy and had been sympathetic to him, aside from all of the blatant ogling of his nearly naked body.

"Alright, fine," Cloud finally responded accepting his embarrassing fate. "I'll go with you. As long as you promise to help me out of this mess."

Aerith simply giggled and nodded her head. "It's a deal!" Aerith exclaimed enthusiastically. "As long as YOU promise to protect me in a meaningful manner." She reached out her hand in front of him, expecting Cloud to reach his own out and give a proper handshake.

Cloud simply rolled his eyes and accepted the handshake.

"Great!" Aerith said, excitement over the situation at hand overcoming her. She started making her way toward the church's exit before looking back at her guardian. "Don't wait up, Cloud~!" There was that sing-song voice again as he started opening the doors.

Taking a deep breath, Cloud reached down and took the Buster Sword in his left hand. Since he didn't have his shirt with him at the moment, he couldn't have the sword rest on his back, so he would just have to get used to carrying it around everywhere for the time being.

As he was mentally preparing himself to head outside, Aerith started having an internal dialogue, trying to figure out how to seperate this handsome man from his sole piece of modesty...
