His Roomate

David sighed deeply, knowing that his best option for testing the curse was to lie to Rachel, formerly Rick. He walked over to her door, feeling a cold sweat run down his back and butterflies in his stomach. If things went wrong, he knew she could still overpower him easily, not a pleasant thought.

With some trepidation, David knocked on the door, closing his eyes as he rapped his knuckles against it. Rachel yelled from inside: "What the fuck do you want? I'm getting dressed!" He flinched slightly before responding in a less confident tone than he'd intended: "I wanted to talk to you about some things... You love when we chat, after all, I'm your favorite person."

David's heart pounded against his chest as he waited for her response. After a moment, Rachel replied in a meek tone: "Okay, j-just let me get dressed." He could hear the sound of movement and mumbling from behind the door.

Ten minutes later, Rachel finally opened the door, revealing her well-toned figure barely concealed under a tight T-shirt without a bra and equally tight jeans. There was a light amount of makeup on her face and what appeared to be blush on her cheeks. "C-come on in, sorry for the wait," she said nervously as David stepped inside.

As he looked around, David could tell that Rachel had hastily cleaned the room while trying to get ready. The sight sent a pang of guilt through his heart at the thought of how much unintentional control he had over her. Caught up in his own thoughts, David stood frozen in the middle of her room until Rachel asked nervously from beside him: "So what did you want to talk about?"

The question snapped David back to reality, and he realized with a jolt that he hadn't actually planned for this scenario. He'd been so focused on getting to this point that he hadn't thought about what to do once he was here.

Rachel looked at him expectantly, waiting for an answer. David's mind went blank as the pressure mounted, what could he say? And more importantly, how would his words affect her now?
