I heard the distinct sound of a camera click.

She pocketed it just as Tammy came round the corner.

Tammy looked downright confused. She stepped forward and leaned down so close you fell backwards onto the couch to avoid making contact.

Mortified beyond belief, but at least feeling like the worst is over, you smile at Tammy before getting bowled over by what Matilda said next.
