To an odd viewing area of some kind

Jessica was lead kicking and screaming down an empty street. There were multiple designer stores on the right, each had unique neon designs with bouncers guarding each door. On the left was much stranger, as Jessica took a closer look she was startled at what she saw. There were large display windows placed consecutively all the way down the street and appeared to be part of the same store. Inside each display was a small hotel room of minuscule design. Each room had a toilet, shower and bed all in view for everyone to see.

What shocked Jessica the most was in one of the displays she was sure she could see a man in the shower, as if unaware the whole street could see him. The old lady stopped at a set of double doors, in the middle of all the displays. Above the doors was a sign which said: "Non Permit holders for sale!" She pushed open the door and entered inside with the bound Jessica.

The main lobby was lit up with pink and red neon lights, showcasing the store. There were a few aisles with shelves showcasing a bunch of odd foods and souvenirs. On the left and right were doors outlined with the same neon lights, and a sign saying "Non permit holder viewing area!". At the very back was the kiosk, in a similar neon design and cashiers awaiting a customer.

A young woman with brunette hair stood behind the cash register, greeting the group who'd walked in with Jessica. The old lady cleared her throat as she approached the desk, ready to explain the situation. "Hi Mildred! What are you doing here?" The cashier joyfully asked, seeming friendly. "I'M HERE WITHOUT CONSENT! LET GO OF ME!!" Jessica screeched as the security guard dragged her up to the desk.

Mildred glanced back at the cashier with a dissatisfied smile. "Ahhh caught another one have we? Our top non permit catcher is at it again!" The cashier chuckled, bowing as a gesture toward Mildred. "Yes, and this one's heavily dangerous, not just with aggression and verbally, she's a reporter who was going to leave a horrible reputation on our delightful town!" Mildred commented, looking back at Jessica angrily.

Jessica couldn't believe what was happening. She knew some states had dumb rules but this was completely absurd, she made one simple mistake and suddenly she's man handled and insulted. "I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER PLEASE! I'M BEING HELD HERE AGAINST MY WILL!!" Jessica complained to the cashier, hoping she would have some sense.

The cashier simply smiled at Jessica. "Show me a permit and I'll sort out a proper apology." She responded, folding her arms. Jessica frowned and let out a "humph". She didn't have a comeback to that statement so she sulked in protest. "Didn't think so, now then, let's get her processed."
