Chapter 27: You Can't Fight Sin Alone

N7X VOSS

In her mind/heart:

A tower and a pillar on top of it. She stood on the tower. Her demons. Her enemies stood before her. A golden man dressed in a white robe. Grey and bleak sky. "God," She hissed.

Cin came up beside her. "This is just a shade or an illusion conjured up but a possibility if we had the powers that we have in here and if their God was more physical and seeable. What-if scenario if you will. You ready?"

She extended her vampire fangs. She snapped and a sword appeared in her right hand. "I was born ready."

She ran towards the gold figure, screaming at the top of her lungs. "CRUCIFY HIM!" She shouted. Swinging her sword. The golden figure tried to step back. Her blade cut him. A gold liquid started to seep from his wound. He fell down to one knee. She stood before him smiling.

"Do it," Cin command. "Strike him down." Do it! Voices in her head. Her thoughts. Do it! We need to! He took everything from us! He betrayed us! No, we betrayed him. "SILENCE!" She shouted. "UGH!" God is our enemy! God tore our heart out! No, sin did this to us! It's sin and the demons of hell!

Cin spoke again, "HE MURDERED CHRISTINA GRIMMIE! Finish him in here and you will be ready for the next phase."

God took everything from us! More voices and more thoughts. N7x's mind was swirling with emotion and confusion. Strike him down! Do it! Do it! No, we can't what about our Christian friends? What about love? What about goodness? That can be done without Christianity! Yes, it can but will it be wholesome? Will there be an agenda behind that type of goodness, goodness without Christ? "Stop. . .STOP!" She dropped her sword. It disappeared in a flash of sparks. N7x put her hands on the sides of her head. She began to cry The golden figure popped in a flash of sparks. Cin came up in front of her. Cin. . .Cin? "Wait," N7x began looking at her for like the first time and being shocked, "Your name is so close to-"

Sin kicked her in the gut. N7x fell over. "You could've stood with us against God. But no. So indecisive. Delta still remains within you a bit. You always were pathetic N7x."

"Cin is. . .your name is Sin?" N7x gasped on the ground in disbelief.

Sin stood above her gloating. "Yes, Sin is what I am! Who I am! No matter what worldview you take I'll always be a thorn in your side. I am a thorn in everyone's side actually I guess. A global enemy. Secretly in their hearts and heads. Sometimes I help them but no matter what I make sure when I deploy and maneuver I make moves against humanity to make people all around the world one step less close to the Christian God. Porn is okay to watch even if you're married it totally won't make you lust after other women and it totally won't get you divorced in the future. And, on the note divorce and cheating. "No, you're wrong! And You're the thing that beat me down the thing that destroyed me when I was a Christian," N7x said in disbelief.

"I was part of it. But also, lust was, and your demons. Not just me. Your falling out with their God was you too. You humans all have a choice and you chose. In my opinion, you chose good, leaving Christianity. Blocking your Christian friends. But you can do so much more. I am trying to lead you onto a great path can't you see that?"

"A path of murder and killing?" N7x asked in disbelief.

"Why, no! No! A path where there are no more righteous hypocrites living. . .So I guess, yes a path of murder and killing. The plan. That a 14-year-old thought about."

"You mean what you made me think about? Yes, I am in the wrong for dwelling on it for years but you helped in that, didn't you? Sin. The rot inside all humans. Even me. . .I hated the Christians I hate myself because you're here in me but. . .I now hate you the most." N7x stood up.

"Now, don't do anything you will regret!" Sin began. N7x was having none of it. She closed the distance. Snapping with both hands. Two swords. One in each hand. And she swung both of them like a monster. Sin backed away. Dodging out of the way from her attacks. Sin then jumped back on top of a pillar.

"Very, well, then N7x you force my hand. LUST!" A blinding flash of light. N7x raised her sword trying to shield her eyes. The light cleared. Standing before her was. . .well, her but all naked.

Lust looked at N7x, "Hello, darling." Lust snapped and a blade appeared. N7x readied herself. And they began to fight. Parries and attacks. But no one landed a blow. Sin simply watched from the pillar at them. N7x tried to land a blow but Lust just blocked the attack. Finally, during their duel, they locked blades.

"Ready to join Sin in the grave?" N7x asked.

"You don't want to kill me, you love me, I am your sexual desires."

N7x didn't know what to say, Lust took the opportunity being so close, and with N7x distracted, Lust headbutted her. N7x cried out in pain stumbling back. She stood back Lust advanced swinging her sword above her head. Bringing it down. N7x sidestepped dodging the blow. Slashing with one of her swords. Cutting Lust in the side of her chest. Lust crumbled to the floor. N7x then turned to face her. Going for the killing blow. Lust spun around thrusting her blade into N7x's side. "UGH!" N7x cried out in pain.

N7x was about to use her other sword to stab Lust but then Lust started to shift and contort in a really weird way and she rapidly grew small soon she started to go into a ghost-like form and drifted up to Sin. Going inside of Sin? "Lust is just an extension of me. Just part of me. And apparently, you can't beat her. I saw you were going to stab her. That wouldn't have killed her." Lust's sword that was inside N7x popped in a flash of sparks. Now she was bleeding more from her wound. But she stood up ready.

"You see, I could have deployed more parts of me or I can just beat with my own two hands. In the end, if you try to fight you won't be able to win. Because you can't fight sin alone. You need the Christian God. But you made a promise. That you can't break. And you've been hurt by them." N7x was at a loss for words. "I am going to enjoy breaking you. Pain will shape you into what I want you to become. With pain, I'll make you submit." Sin jumped down from the pillar landing next to N7x, she tried to raise her blade. But not in time. Sin cocked her fist back and punched her in the jaw.
