Survey the area first

Taking the prudent of a knight, Poppy lefts her head to scan the area for anything out of place. And then her eyes saw it. It was only for a fraction of a second but there was a glimmer in the light at the top of the mouth of the cave. She thought it was nothing at first until it looked like that gray spot was breathing.

“Hmph!” Swiftly Poppy threw her hammer. It spun like a top and slammed into what should have been stone but was a hidden toad as her hammer crushed the monster with a large spatter of purple blood and guts on the wall.

The hammer came back around like a boomerang in the Yordle’s hands. With a stoic nod, Poppy made a note to watch out for more of the beasts hidden in the shadows as she took tentative steps to the mouth of the cave. Poking her head in she could see two toads standing guard. Their backs were turned so they did not notice her as they stood there in nothing but loincloths and spears. The green skinned reptiles stood at the height of a man, meaning Poppy only up to their crotches, as they looked like frogs standing upright. Big round eyes, with large heads that housed a tongue far longer than them.

Poppy took note of their equipment and the fact that they are clearly more sentience than wild beasts. Patrols guards; These toads are not just wildly doing whatever they pleased. There is some thought behind their actions and that worried her. She also took notice of the one cave toad crawling on the wall above them. Going in and out of camouflage like the one outside as he kept an eye out for any intruders.

‘Taking them out quietly isn’t much of an option nor will it be easy…’ Poppy thought as she wondered how to take them out:

Frist swing her hammer knocking the first two out and then jump up to powerbomb the other one to the ground. Though she’ll be without her weapon for a moment, the most dangerous toad will be dispatched.

Or she could smash her hammer into the wall, causing a minor quake to knock down the camouflaged toad so she could take it out and then rush down the other two that will be shaken by the quake. It’ll be a little loud so the other two WILL know she is there, but they’ll be too shaken up to move and the most dangerous toad will be taken out.
