Barbara's New "Dress"

After drying off Barbara and Dave made their way into Dave's bedroom to get dressed. Dave grabbed a pair of underwear from his dresser and slid them on. Turning around to grab a T-shirt from his closet he saw Barbara standing there holding the oversized sweats she had slipped out of earlier. "Not getting dressed?" Dave asked as he grabbed a T-shirt from the closet.

"Well I wanted to ask..." Barbara paused and flashed the puppy dog eyes at Dave. "If maybe I could wear something else." She dropped the sweats to the floor. "Those are too baggy and frumpy for me now." Barbara hurried over to Dave's closet. "Could I wear one of your shirts?"

"I guess, but they are way too big for you." Dave said as he stepped aside so that Barbara could start looking through his T-shirts.

"I like this one!" Barbara said as she pulled out a black short sleeve henley. "Can I wear it?" Dave nodded yes and Barbara undid all 4 buttons at the neck and slid it on over her head. The shirt extended down past her butt and was quite baggy on her slender upper body. "What do you think?" She said as she did a twirl for Dave.

"I guess it works..." Dave said as he gave the bottom of the shirt a tug. "It's basically a dress on you, but it is way too baggy around the waist." Dave paused for a moment. "Wait I may have something for this." He said as he began digging into a box on the floor of his closet. After a bit of digging Dave held up a bundle of white paracord. "You can use this like a belt." Dave wrapped the paracord around Barbara's waist and tied a neat little knot. "We can trim the rest of the paracord off in the kitchen." Dave said as he handed Barbara the extra bit that hung off the knot.

After Dave got dressed the two headed off to the kitchen, where Dave trimmed up the makeshift paracord belt. "Alright I'm gonna make some scrambled eggs." Dave said grabbing a carton of eggs from the refrigerator.

"Hey Dave?" Barbara asked from behind Dave.

"Yeah?" Dave said as he turned on the stove.

"Can I cook?" Barbara slid up beside Dave. "I learned a lot from Giada. I promise it will be yummy." She broke out the puppy dog eyes and Dave relented.

A couple minutes later Dave was scarfing down some delicious scrambled eggs. "How did she make them so fluffy..." Dave pondered as he scooped up the last of the eggs. "So you wanna watch a movie before we rehydrate you again and I get some sleep?" Barbara eagerly nodded and the two headed off to the living room.
