Open dialogue

Kyrie was right, of course. The four of them come into the meeting room to find Damon having a conversation with Layla and Becca. It sounds like he is filling them in on some basics about the world, and they appear to be listening intently. He pauses when everyone enters, then continues.

“As I said, sexuality is much more open than you’re probably used to, and these four are a good example. Nice of you to join us, by the way.”

Kyrie grins. “Jealous? We lost track of time.”

Alicia giggles. “Sorry, Damon.”

Damon shrugs. “I expected it, honestly. You didn’t miss anything important, and it’s probably best that I’m the one sharing the information. The rest of you can get distracted sometimes.”

Mike notices the little smile on Damon’s face, and chuckles. “It’s nice to see that you can joke about it a little.”

Damon nods. “Well, by rights we should be dragging these two off in chains. They did abduct you, at gun point. But, im willing to give them this chance.”

Layla speaks up. “We appreciate it. Hopefully we can earn your trust.”

Damon continues. “Regardless, it seemed best for me to speak with them first anyway. The rest of you have interest in these two beyond the academic.”

Layla and Becca look at each other in a bit of surprise. Becca looks around the room at everyone. “What does that mean?”

Alicia smiles. “It means we think you’re both very pretty. And as Damon was explaining, sex is very open here. For example, Mike and I are as close to a couple as you tend to see, but the four of us were just off in Kyrie’s room, doing everything you could imagine.”

Liam giggles. “And some things you probably couldn’t.”

Layla stares for a moment, then responds. “So, Damon wasn’t kidding about the way sex is treated here? It really is just open?”

Mike nods. “Pretty much. Obviously, no one is forced to participate in anything, in my experience everyone has been very polite about it. I certainly can’t complain, but it has taken a bit to adjust.”

Becca eyes him up. “So, if I asked you for some time alone together right now…”

Kyrie laughs. “She’s got an eye on you already, stud!”

Mike chuckles and rolls his eyes. “Well, I would definitely be happy to take you up on that, but I feel like we should get you two settled in before we start on that sort of thing.”

Becca blushes. “It…I was being…”

Liam smiles. “It’s ok, dear! He has that effect on people.”

Mike nods. “Maybe I should tell you what’s happened to me since I got here.”

Layla nods. “Please do, and don’t leave anything out.”

Mike smiles, noting the slight emphasis on ‘anything’. “You got it. I don’t normally kiss and tell, but if you want the full story, you’ll hear it.”
