Why Not Let Barbara Choose?

Dave and Barbara laid in bed for another hour or so watching TV together. Dave had made the decision to switch over to watching Community, but this time he told Barbara she didn't need to learn from every character in the show. She could just focus on Annie, and to a lesser extent Britta. This resulted in Barbara peppering Dave with all sorts of questions about what Dave thought about each of the different characters in the show. "She's definitely curious, I'll give her that." Dave thought after being bombarded with questions about why Dave thought Professor Slater was hot.

"Alright..." Dave picked up the remote and turned off the TV. "I think that's enough TV for now." He said as he looked down at Barbara who was snuggled up to him. "How about I go get myself something to eat and we get you something to drink?"

Barbara's face lit up with excitement. "Absolutely!!!" She exclaimed as she wrapped her arms around Dave's chest and hugged him tightly.

"Okay..." Dave grabbed her wrist." But you have to let me get up first."

"O sorry!" Barbara said as she released her grip and hopped out of bed.

Dave rolled out of bed and tossed on a T-shirt and a pair of gym shorts. "I'm gonna use the restroom real quick. Why don't you just meet me in the kitchen." Dave said as he headed towards the bathroom. Barbara scurried off to the kitchen, while Dave headed in to take a leak. "What should I give her to drink?.." Dave wondered as he stood over the toilet taking a piss.

After finishing up in the bathroom Dave walked out to the kitchen where Barbara was eagerly waiting for him. "Soooooo???? What do I get to drink?" Barbara asked.

"Let's see..." Dave grabbed a bottle of water from the counter. "You could try water again. Or..." Dave pointed towards the coffee pot. "You could try coffee... or maybe tea. Then again..." Dave opened up the refrigerator. "I've got some pop in here... Or maybe you could just chug creamer. Or..." Dave pointed over to the **** fridge in the living room. "You could have a beer or some wine... Or maybe you're more of a liqueur type of girl..." Dave shut the refrigerator and walked up to Barbara. "You've got options."

"You mean I get to pick?" Barbara asked.

"Sure, why not..." Dave turned and picked up a bottle of water. "What's the worst that could happen? You drink this and get healthier?" Dave sat the water back down. "Plus it seems like no matter what you drink, you will still be slowly changing... So we might as well try something new and see what happens."

Barbara picked up a bottle of water from the counter and began examining it. After a moment of deliberation she sat that down and quickly inspected the next one. Then she hurried over to the kitchen refrigerator and then dashed off to the **** fridge. "So many choices!!!" She exclaimed as she hurried over to the coffee pot and grabbed a bag of coffee off the counter. "This one!" She said as she held the bag of coffee out towards Dave. "I wanna try this!"
