Motives clarified

The evening goes smoothly, with both sides getting along wonderfully. Captain Ben restrains himself on shore, to use his words, “Why would I talk like a pirate here? Alex nods, and Melora nudges you. “Just give the girl what she wants. It will be enjoyable for everyone. It was for me…”

You laugh. “Ok, ok. But I’d like to spend some more time with you first, ok Cassie?”

The chameleon girl smiles, her colors going bright pink and yellow. “Hooray! Of course! I don’t need to jump on you right this second, anyway.”
