Barbara the Little Spoon

"How about this." Dave grabbed the remote off his nightstand and turned on the TV in his bedroom. "Since you don't sleep I'll put Giada back on the TV so you can learn more about cooking. Then I am going to lay down and take a nap." Dave said as he clicked through his streaming services. "There we go." Dave said as he queued up an episode for Barbara.

"Okay!" Barbara said as she turned to face the TV.

Dave took off his pants and t-shirt and laid down in bed. Grabbing the remote Dave went to hit play, but he paused and looked back over to Barbara who was still standing there facing the TV. "This just seems weird..." Dave's eyes went to the empty side of his bed, and then back to Barbara. "I shouldn't, but...." Dave reached over and pulled the covers back on the empty side of the bed. "Hey why don't you lay down in bed with me." Dave said as he patted the empty side of the bed.

Barbara spun around. "Really?!?!" She asked as he face lit up with excitement. "I can lay in bed with you?!?!"

"Yes..." Dave said as a smile crept onto his face. There was just something so endearing to him about Barbara.

Barbara quickly hopped into bed next to Dave. "Thank you so much!" Barbara said as she pulled the covers up over her body. "You are the best Dave!"

Dave just grinned at Barbara's quirky antics. "Are you comfortable?" Dave asked.

Barbara laid her head on the pillow. "Um.... I think." Barbara wiggled and shifted her body a bit and then looked back over at Dave. "Are you comfortable?" Dave not saying a word nodded yes. "Are you sure? If you want I can give you more room? Or I can hold you? Or you can hold me? Or I can move to the foot of the bed? I can really do whatever you want!" Barbara said.

"Just relax..." Dave said as he thought about Barbara's rambling list of options. After taking a moment to think about things Dave finally continued. "You know what? I think I would it would be nice if you slid over here and let me snuggle with you while I take my nap." Dave lifted up the covers and Barbara slid over next to him. "Do you know how to be a little spoon?" Barbara shook her head no. "Okay roll over onto your side..." Barbara started to roll towards Dave. "The other way..." Barbara did as instructed. "Now I'll slide in behind you." Dave slid up behind Barbara, pulled her short body tight against his. "And now you are the little spoon and I am the big spoon."

"I like this!" Barbara said as she wiggled her flat little butt against Dave's crotch. "I feel so secure." She grabbed Dave's arm and pulled it tight against her.

"Go ahead and hit play." Dave said as he closed his eyes. Barbara did as instructed and the show began to play. As Dave lay there snuggled up to Barbara his internal monologue rambled on. "This is so weird... She doesn't breath... Her body feels real, but doesn't generate any heat.. She even smells oddly industrial... This is just too damn weird..." Dave shifted his body slightly. "But it is kind of nice having her around..." Dave thought to himself.
