Testing Amy's Power

"Ohh I wonder what else I can do with this!" Amy excitedly pondered.

"Ok lets slow down for a second. I don't know how I feel about being your Guinea pig." Brendan cautioned.

"Oh I won't make you do anything to crazy."

"I don't like being **** to do anything at all."

"Look I promise I won't do anything to you without you knowing about it. Now will you please let me test my eye out on you?" She asked while putting on her best puppy dog eyes.

"Ok but I always need to be aware of when you use this power." Brendan relented.

"Of course!" Amy said seriously. "Now lets see I guess we should test when it activates. Don't look at me for a minute."

"Man that is weird." Brendan said as he felt himself **** to stop looking at Amy. "No matter what its like I can't **** myself to do it."

"Oh I didn't mean for that to be command. I wonder if I can actually turn it off and on? Well I guess this is as good a time as any. Brendan look at me." She tried to command only he kept his head turned. "Brendan look at me. Look at me. Uhh ohh." She kept trying different variations and even putting herself in his vision only for him to turn before she got off her command. Finally after 60 seconds he was able to look at her again.

"Good thing you said a minute otherwise that could have been really bad." Brendan said worriedly.

"Yea. Everyone following everything I say might get a little scary. Let me see if it works even if I try to will you not to follow. Brendan Lay on the ground." She commanded and despite not wanting him to follow he dropped to the floor for a second before picking himself up. "I'm really gonna have to watch what I say now aren't I?"

"Yes you are. What if it has a range requirement?" Brendan said taking a few steps away from her. A few impromptu burpees later they had found that the range was only a few feet.

"So I need to be pretty close for it to work. No wonder I didn't cause to much havoc this week. How about if I have these on." She said grabbing a pair of sunglasses from her purse. "Jump up and down." They waited and Brendan stayed still. "I guess actually seeing my eye is still a pretty hard requirement. Well lets test what I can make you do now."

"What do you mean by that?" Brendan asked hesitantly.

"Like what if I asked you do do something you can't. Like You know how to speak Spanish fluently. You only speak Spanish." Amy commanded and Brendan looked confused. He opened his mouth. Paused. Then again.

"ehhh. No se Hablo Espanol Senora." Brendan said.

"You can speak English again." Amy allowed.

"Wow that was... Weird. I just couldn't remember how to say any words anymore. Like I knew what I wanted to say but just... couldn't. Only thing I knew was what I learned from highschool Spanish class. Though that seemed to be a better recall than I remembered."

"Your accent was pretty good as well and I bet you weren't that good at rolling your R's in highschool. But it does seem like I can't make you do something you cant. Though one more test. Levitate 1 foot off the ground." Amy tried and they watched as Brendan... stayed put on the ground.

"Darn you cant give me superpowers." Brendan said disappointedly.

"Don't worry we can still have fun with the one you have. Now let's get to bed. My eye cant get us out of work tomorrow. Actually let me help you with that." She said smiling at him mischievously. "Go to sleep."
