Surprise Guest

When the location of the second phase of the chunin exams was announced Temari was delighted as while the skills of her team would allow them to pass it within the first day she could do so much with five almost unsupervised days. In fact she used her genjutsu to get placed near Naruto's team so she could have as much time as she needed. Kiba and the girl from Kusa were almost afterthoughts as she had ordered them to gather information on the contestants in the exams while Naruto and the Kyuubi needed her personal attention.

Due to her placement Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro were able to intercept Naruto's team within an hour when they stopped to plan. Gaara received orders from Temari to prepare sand prisons for Sakura and Sasuke so they could not interfere while she worked on Naruto. While Naruto was arguing with Sasuke about what they should do in the forest a cloud entered Sakura and Sasuke's heads with three words echoing in their minds.

Sasuke tried to resist even activating his sharingan but due to both surprise and the genjutsu being so unusual he could not prevent himself from falling under Temari's spell, slumping and his face becoming vacant as all thought left his mind temporarily. Sakura was also easy to put under her spell and soon her own face was empty and vacant. Naruto jumped in surprise as he saw Sakura and Sasuke change so suddenly and almost poked them to see what was wrong before Temari appeared before him along with Gaara and Kankuro. Gaara raised his hand, sand streaming from the gourd on his back to wrap around Sakura and Sasuke, completely concealing their features along with gagging and blindfolding them. Temari smiled at Naruto and waved her small fan before him, sending a first cloud directed towards his own mind reading

Naruto slumped as well but while his features remained slack he appeared more alert than his teammates.

Temari walked closer to the entranced Naruto and placed a hand on his shoulder while whispering into his ear "now it is time to do as I promised **** and help you with the Kyuubi but you must do something to help your mistress. You must drop deep inside your mind where the beast resides and tell me how much progress I am making." Naruto made the barest hint of a nod with his head, acknlowedging the command with a whispered "yes mistress" before using the trance to drop deeper into his mind than he had ever been before. He did not register that his mind appeared to be a sewer nor did he break free of Temari's control as he stood in front of the caged Kyuubi. He reported to Temari with another whisper "the Kyuubi is asleep but I cannot see far into its cage." While Temari was surprised by the beast being trapped in a cage she soon went to business and fueled another cloud much larger than the ones that had struck down Sasuke and Sakura, whispering into it before sending to infiltrate the cage

Naruto could see the cloud of his mistress enter the cage lazily then seem to disappear into the Kyuubi's ear. The Kyuubi itself seemed to shift a little as the genjutsu was reinforced but it did not appear to wake. Outside Naruto's mindscape he was reporting his observations to Temari who was pleased that there was an initial success in keeping her future **** asleep.

Temari continued reinforcing the genjutsu on the Kyuubi until almost sunset, repeating her actions three times before an unexpected surprise arrived in the form of a green haired Waterfall kunoichi who jumped straight out of the trees and landed behind Temari who whirled in surprise and some panic as she instinctively brought up her fan to use her genjutsu again. The kunoichi laughed softly as she spoke saying "I saw you had an interesting little trick just before the first exam started and now I see it has more applications than I thought." She studied Naruto and his vacant expression briefly then grinned brightly at Temari, continuing with "I could use a jutsu like that since I found out that I love mind control porn. You wouldn't be willing to make a trade would you, my silence about these events for a few lessons?"

Temari was almost paralyzed by indecision as the kunoichi presented the deal she was offering. On the one hand she could be executed if found interfering with another village's weapon but if this kunoichi could no longer remember what she saw or was bound by loyalty to Temari then there would be no issue. Her mind latched onto the third option with desperation and reflexively created another cloud that she imbued with

PUPPET

OBEY

LOYAL

Then she waited with trembling nerves and body to see whether the waterfall kunoichi would fall under her spell and become her mindlessly loyal obedient puppet. It in fact had taken the last of her chakra available to her after beginning the taming of the kyuubi and she collapsed into a chair of sand that Gaara thoughtfully provided for her and fell asleep.
