Chapter 5

Actually...
That is exactly what Liz expects
"Cassie, go over what you just asked once more, and think about why all of us are in this room."
Perhaps it was unprofessional of Liz to talk to her student like that, but the damn girl just had to go and point out the elephant in the room. Now everyone was uncomfortable - even Cassie herself, Liz noticed - having realized anew that in half a class period they were all going to be sold off.
Once more, the professor was filled with a sense of melancholy. She had been owned by the dean of the college of liberal arts ever since her graduation, where the man had expressed interest in her grades and abilities. Her father had all but sold her on the spot, and she had been teaching ever since. Or at least, whenever the dean didn't have her bent over his desk, or acting as a warm cocksleeve in front of his chair. Liz wasn't sure where she went wrong, or even if she did anything wrong; it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume the dean just wanted to free up room for one of the younger students to take her place. Hell, the money he got from Liz's sale would probably all go to buying her replacement, some other academically-minded young woman who he thought was "giving him eyes" during her schooling.
It wasn't quite that she was sad to go, Liz thought. More that she was leaving the comfort of the known behind. A niggling thought in the back of her mind told her it was like taking one last look at your house before you move out, devoid of furniture and decoration and utterly empty in an indescribable way. She would never get to experience that for herself, of course; it would be patently ridiculous for property to own property after all.
Liz shook herself out of her funk. She would only be a professor for half a class more, but she still had her pride as a woman and a teacher. She was going to shoulder her responsibility to the end.
"Come on now girls, being sold or bought is not the end of everything. It's just an unfortunate fact of life. Now, we've covered this topic a bit longer than I expected, so let's move along. In light of this being our last class, does anyone have a question from the material we would have gotten to later in the semester?"
Liz watched as her comment pulled her students back out of their downward spirals. They weren't as bright eyed and eager as when they first walked in those few weeks ago, but if she could hold this much steady, the professor would count it as a win.
Slowly, a few of the young women raised their hands.
Who chooses the next topic for the class?

Rings of Confirmation
'Can't say no to that!'
With two rings, induce others to either affirm or negate whatever you ask while also magically making such values true. (Inspired by another story on some other place somewhere.)
