They're pissed... but not for the reason you thought

Charlotte tries to hide her disappointment when you show her back to the garage. "Uh, why are we going to a garage?"

You shrug. "It's where we live right now. Is that a problem?"

She has to consider that for a moment but not for too long... her alternatives suck. "No problem, Mike."

Stacy must have heard you outside because she opens the door for you... and gives Charlotte a questioning look.

"Uh, Mike, isn't she supposed to be someone else's bride?"

"Yeah. Except the asshole she was supposed to marry tried to get me arrested for **** and wants to keep her prisoner."

That gets Charlotte surrounded by the girls and you abandoned... until Charlotte tells the story in more detail.

Anna wheels on you. "You fuck up with minister? How stupid is that?"

"Hey, nobody told me he was a minister before--"

"We come all the way to boondocks to get away from religious terrorists and you send greeting card?"

You hadn't really had a chance to think things through that way... although, now that you are thinking, at least you realize that bringing Charlotte back wasn't the mistake. Even if you'd left her with asshole Charles and her asshole dad, the cat was out of the bag.

"Maybe you should have figured that out before you decided to crash her bachelorette party," you fire back.

Which was obviously a mistake. Getting petty with your girls isn't going to get you laid.

"Typical male asshole," Anna says.

Well, shit.
