Does Meredith go after Stacy?

Meredith let's her go on her own

Chapter 10 by thosearemysecret thosearemysecret

Meredith's hand reaches for the handle. She stops. If Stacy wanted her to go along she would have said so. "15 minutes," Meredith decides. "If she isn't on her way back in 15 minutes I'll go check on her. It shouldn't take that long to find a charger." The man watching Stacy walk to the truck stop shop goes back to minding his own business as Stacy disappears through the sliding doors.

Meanwhile, Stacy is definitely feeling the shortness of her skirt. It's unseasonably cool for the last week of August and there's a breeze coming off the nearby Delaware River. Multiple times she has to grip the hem of the skirt to hold it from blowing up. She wonders if Meredith is really the best judge of length. She thinks about the "Summer Camp Slut" rumors and wonders if this was a typical outfit for Meredith when away from school. Maybe that's why she reacted so strongly, she was jealous that Stacy looked so good in it. "Bitch," Stacy mutters as the doors to the store slide open. She shakes her head and reminds herself she needs to play nice.

An attractive 18-year-old girl wearing a skimpy outfit isn't a common sight for the trucker facing entrance of the truck stop. More than a few heads turn as she walks in and the eyes freeze Stacy in her tracks. She becomes hyper-aware of the outfit she's wearing. It makes her feel naked and she almost turns around. "I'll teach you to own your sexuality," Dylan had said. "There's nothing wrong with being desired."

She can feel the blood pulsing in her veins. I can do this, she thinks and puts on a pleasant smile as she continues walking. The situation makes her dizzy and she has difficulty focusing. While she's committed to the task she also wants to get it over with as soon as possible. Stacy decides to go straight to the counter to ask for help.

As she approaches the counter there are three other men standing around and chatting with the clerk. "Excuse me," Stacy quietly says as she pushes past them.

"Oh, hey beautiful, how can I help you," the clerk, a man not all that much older than Stacy, asks.

"Yeah, beeeuuuutiful, how can WE help you," a trucker wearing a Houston Astros hat asks while not even pretending to not leer at Stacy.

Stacy smiles awkwardly at him before looking at the clerk again. "I need a charger for my phone. We're driving that old RV out there so I'm not sure what's compatible. I guess there's a way to plug into the cigarette lighter?"

Another man, in a hat that says "Dempsey Transports" on it, laughs "fuck, you just made me feel so old, girlie. What's your age?"

Stacy wants to ignore him and just get the charger but she remembers Dylan's rule. "Um, 18, Sir."

"Oh legal. And so polite," the Astros fan says and steps in a little bit closer. Stacy responds by getting tight against the counter. "So how 18 we talking? Like on the cusp of 19?"

"Mark. Let her be," the third man by the counter says. He's wearing a cowboy hat and is dressed much tidier than the other two men.

"One month and three days," Stacy replies. She only answers because she believes that's what Dylan's rule required. "So the charger?"

Mark, wearing the Astros hat, ignores her question and talk over the clerk as he tries to direct her. "Oh, barely legal. Even better. See, Tom, the lil darlin' wants to answer the questions. If she didn't want the attention, well, she probably wouldn't be teasing all of us with those goods. Ain't that right?"

Stacy was feeling very uncomfortable with the situation. She can't help but look to the man with the cowboy hat for safety. Yet, she remembers the rule: Yes All Men. She needs to reply in the affirmative. "Yes, Sir, but, really, I just need the charger."

The man in the cowboy hat simply shakes his head. "Well, whatever, just be careful," he can't help but look her up and down before tipping his hat and walking away.

"What kind of hole do you have?" the clerk asks trying to get the transaction over with. The phrasing of the question catches Stacy off guard and she blushes.

"Ex-excuse me, I'm sorry, what kind of...hole?"

The two other men laugh. Dempsey Transports jumps in "yeah, sweetheart, what kind of hole? Cherry-filled or not?"

Stacy is confused by the question and doesn't know how to answer.

"I think you need to specify which one," Mark says. "She has three."

Stacy starts to feel light-headed. Suddenly she thinks she understands the questions but doesn't know who anyone would ask in such a public place. "I-I'm a virgin, Sirs."

All three men laugh, but the clerk pulls himself together. "Oh my god, no, I mean on your phone. What kind of connector do you need?"

The men continue to laugh and Stacy feels ashamed for misunderstanding. "Oh, oh, gosh, I'm so embarrassed. Um, yeah, USB-C to a cigarette lighter thingee."

The clerk nods. "Right behind you. At the very bottom of the end cap."

Stacy turns and Mark steps out of her way. There, in plain sight, is an entire endcap of chargers, earbuds, and other mobile device-relevant accouterments. Stacy's relieved. She can soon be back in the RV. She crosses to the endcap and looks down. Sure enough, there's a charger that looks like it fits her needs. What Stacy doesn't notice is the top row has nearly the same selection of chargers. The girl bends over to get the charger off the rack and her skirt rides up giving the three men, and anyone else who might be looking, a clear look at her thong cleaved ass cheeks.

Mark and Dempsey Transports both give loud whistles. Mark ends his whistle with an "oh sweet Jesus in Heaven. Thank you for sending this virgin angel."

Stacy hears it all and continues to think of Dylan. He'd be proud of her, right? That she's going this far with the roleplay? Thinking about telling him when they see one another helps push down some of the embarrassment and fear. It isn't until she places the charger on the counter that she realizes one big problem. She left her wallet in the RV. "Oh no," Stacy says out loud, "I left my money in the RV." She looks past Mark at the door. She really doesn't want to go through all of this again. Meredith was going to be so annoyed with her.

"Don't worry, beautiful, Daddy will buy it for you," Mark licks his lips.

Stacy shivers when Mark calls himself "Daddy" but she's so eager to be out of the situation she replies, "That would be much too kind, Sir. Thank you."

The clerk reaches out to grab and scan the package but Mark grabs it. "Ah, ah, she needs to do something for us first." He looks at Dempsey Transports. "Think she has potential down the road?"

"Oh hell yes, but it depends. Where you heading, little lady, and who are you traveling with?"

"Uh," Stacy knows she's supposed to be honest with men but decides it's okay to leave out the part about Dylan. "Well, we're heading to school on the West Coast. UC-Berkeley. Just me and my friend. She's still in the RV probably wondering what's taking me so long."

This time Dempsey Transports steps closer. "In a hurry to get to school or do you have time to make some...stops...along the way?"

"T-taking some time," Stacy nervously responds. Why wouldn't they let her go?

Dempsey Transports nods. "Okay, Mark, see how she performs for the price of a charger."

"Guys," the clerk finally speaks up, "I know it's slow today but you really shouldn't be conducting...business...in the store."

"Shhh..." Mark says "you can have a finder's fee if she works out down the road."

Stacy was confused and scared. "I-I don't need the charger. I'll just be going."

Mark places a hand on Stacy's shoulder as she's about to squeeze past him. "Don't be silly, angel, this'll be over fast. This here charger costs $35. I'm going to take care of that for you. And in exchange, you're going to sell me that thong under your skirt for $10 and then for $25 walk back over to the rack, bend over like you're grabbing another one of these, and hold that pose for 30 seconds. "Isn't that fair?"

Suddenly Stacy finds herself questioning Dylan's task. If they knew she was wearing a thong it meant Meredith lied about the skirt being too short. It also meant the only reason they wanted her to bend over for that long is so they could see her...her... Stacy releases a quiet puff of air through her lips expressing frustration. She didn't want to let Dylan down but did he really mean for her to say yes to something like this from men like this? It wasn't necessarily outside of the terms and conditions of the relationship. That would have only come into play if they wanted to make some form of physical contact. Looking and showing off was encouraged.

If she went back empty-handed Meredith would probably be mad. And she didn't want Meredith to have to come back in and possibly deal with the fallout of her walking away from the requests.

Meanwhile, in the RV, Meredith watches as 15 minutes pass. She hesitates for a moment looking at the door. Maybe it was a long line?
