Debating the public pillory idea

Lynne and the Miller family were pretty casual about clothes at home, it was usually just the girls at home, and if her husband Tom came home, well he was their dad wasn’t he? If they had guests over she'd just warn her daughters. Lynne noted the relief with which Laura took off her skirt and her top with a look of concern. She wasn't working too hard was she?

Laura took Amy out of her carrier and carried her to the table. She unhooked the flap on her nursing bra, sitting the hungry baby on the table. Droplets of milk were already glistening on her daughter's red nipples. Katie looked a little flushed and asked Laura what she thought of the public pillory idea. Meanwhile, Amy latched on quickly to Laura's left breast and Lynne heard her daughter sigh in relief with her eyes closed. Katie asked her sister about the pillory again and Laura turned red as she didn't seem to have heard the question.

“Don’t worry about it”, Lynne said, grinning broadly at Laura. “I remember exactly how it felt to have you and Katie sucking on these”, gesturing towards her voluptuous bosom.

Laura thought about the question, but it didn’t take her long to decide she was against it too. She pointed out that she wouldn't have to go to the pillory very soon, she’d just gotten Amy six months ago after all. "All the same, I can't imagine having another in like two years! I'd have to start trying for a new baby in less than two years! No way, the pillory idea sucks!"

Laura told Katie that she and her twin sister Sarah were still so young. Katie countered that she already had a boyfriend, but Laura laughed it off - "You've only been with him for a month Katie! No way you're ready for a baby of your own." Lynne said she agreed, her baby daughter was just 18! She bristled a little when Laura told her she was way too old to still have a baby though. "I'm not too old! I'm just 41 thank you very much. I don't want more kids, but that doesn't mean I couldn't Laura!".

Katie pointed out she'd turned 18 months ago, why couldn't she have a baby?! Laura had Amy, and she wasn't that much older, just a few years... Lynne was startled by the vehemence with which Katie said it, and Laura looked surprised too. At that very moment they all erupted in laughter when Laura’s right breast started spraying milk all over the table. Laura muttered a curse and quickly switched Amy over to her other breast.
