Chapter 2 by CrawlingM CrawlingM

What do we see?

Someone reading the "Sorcerer's Guide"

"The sorcerer's guide" is a curious piece of paper with a few lines of text. Once read, the reader understands a specific kind of transformation magic, giving them ability to change things in sight with mere thought, gestures and mana.

People who have not read the paper are ignorant of its effects and the effects upon the world or themselves, making them clay easily re-sculpted.

Even sorcerers can have their shape and souls reformed. They may have more of a chance at resisting and returning to their original form. But if they go too far, their original selves will no longer hold sway and slowly be consumed.

Their opponents may continue to reshape them, covering up their memories and will to fight. They might even turn them into other forms altogether, using them as inanimate magical artifacts or familiars to empower themselves.

And even if the sorcerer wins their duel against another, they must be careful to tend to their wounds, magical or otherwise. For magical energies does not immediately dissipate upon the seizure of the ****. Undoing changes, resetting and affirming one's identity after being transformed is part of the very basics of sorcerer combat, lest you don't mind trying out a new way of life every day or two.

When dueling with other sorcerers, there are many strategies to choose from to gain an advantage. Some sorcerers use brute **** and care little to be diplomatic in their ways. Others are more subtle and may even come away unnoticed after defeating a real foe.

(CM: so yeah, this is my interpretation of transformaniatime's multiplayer game of the same name. It will be simplified for sure, but I wanted to do a story line with some fire-n-forget transformations, try to replicate that round-by-round feeling of getting closer and closer to transforming(/being transformed) and seeing your targets eventually not wanting to return to your previous form. )

Who do we meet?
