Jill pulled the two cards she picked and the modifier cards towards herself, her Nurse Perk, Gym Bunny Flaw and Princess modifier all sitting at the edge of the table closest to her, face up. She looked over the cards in her hand, reconsidering her choices of waht she could play with this new girl

''Well, uhh...'' Jill couldn't quite bring herself to speak as she tried to make eye contact with Roxanne.

''What?'' The drunken girl leaned forwards onto the table.

''Well...'' Jill cleared her throat, sitting up straight as she decided not to be intimidated by the drunk girl. Any problems she had were between her and her boyfriend, so if she should be angry at anyone, it should be him. In fact, she was a little bit irritated that Roxanne was blaming her ''Well, since you decided to join us here, you get to play too, so...''

She picked the first card from her hand, laying it down on the table

''I'll play Nerd, for a Modifier, gives both of us 2 credits and the effect is Alterations made this round are more nerdy but also bring two levels of wealth, maybe you can at least pretend to enjoy this convention with the rest of us nerds''

Barry perked up at hearing the description and craned his neck a bit to look at the card, sighing as he read it "Aw, I would have liked to have had that modifier, more nerd and more money, what's not to like?"

Roxanne didn't look amused at all at their remarks as Jill drew her first pair.

''For your First Pairs Top Card, I'll give you the option of Upper Class, which has the Perk of Target adds two levels to their wealth, which i think means you get to add two zeroes to your cash in the bank, if I understood Barry right'' She looked across to him for approval, seeing him nod slightly ''And the Perk cost for upgrades is 1''

A wry smile crept across Roxannes face ''Yeah, If... ugh... if that was real m-money *hic*, i might even thank you Juliet''

Jill pursed her lips, holding back the urge to correct the girl ''For your First Pair Bottom Card...'' she trailed off, not seeing any particularly good options, deciding that she didn't need to be particularly respectful, as Roxanne wasn't being exactly polite to her. ''To go with your Upper Class wealth, you'll get the Flaw from this Freak card, which gives you 2 credits and has the decribed effect of Target transforms into a monstrous humanoid with a theme chosen by the caster. Jill paused for a moment ''Wow, that's a mouthfull to say''

''That's what she said! Ey'' Roxanne was nudging Barry as she laughed at her own joke.

Jill rolled her eyes a bit and continued ''So, the First Pair, would make you a rich... let's say Succubus, and since you already seem to be focused on me, I'll make myself the target of your infatuation. There!'' She said, slapping down the card to complete her first pair.

She loked across to see Roxanne slumped back in her chair, she couldn't tell if the girl was eyeing her with suspicion or about to pass out as her eyes were narrowed to slits.

''Second pair, Bottom Card, for the combo, you get the Nun cards Flaw, which gives you 2 credits and is described as, Target transforms towards becoming a corrupted nun, eager to corrupt others with their infernal knowledge and desires. further upgrades brings more infernal or inviting talents'' Jill held her finger on top of the card for a moment as she placed it on the table ''Not even sure what that would mean, but honestly, the idea of a stripper nun is just too funny''

Looking up, her suspicion from earlier had been confirmed, Roxannes eyes were definitely closed

''Should we wake her up?'' Jill asked looking towards Barry as she grabbed her new cards, looking at the hand it left her
