Blake x Willow (Snooping around the mansion)

General Ironwood, the Ace Ops, team RWBY, Oscar and team JNR were cordially invited to the Shnee manor after the victory of Jacques in council seat election. Weiss suspected the election results were phony because the polling data in Mantle was a complete mismatch with the final turnout. Constituencies with 70-80% of the population in favour of Robyn Hill as councilwoman ended up with 52% of the votes for Jacques.

52% was a reoccurring number in the voter turnout throughout Mantle constituencies. In fact, all the 10 final constituencies counted last in the election had 52% in favour of Jacques. 52% precisely. It is a rare statistical probability to get exact numbers in elections with a high population. Commonly you get results like 51.94 or 52.03. 52% in favour of Jacques was also the final result in the council seat election.

By contrast, the polling data in Atlas was mostly accurate to the final voter turnout with a majority of Atlas citizens voting in favour of Jacques. But the spectrum of percentages varied more. The preciseness of the voting counts in Mantle with the highest concentration of Robyn supporters has made many in the media, especially alternative media, question the legitimacy of the election results.

Weiss had planned to do a private investigation for evidence of voter fraud by accessing her father's computer during the event held by Jacques. But Blake grew tired of the scathing looks she got from the elitist pricks Jacques invited to his dinner party. They would never have the guts to say to her face what they thought about her outfit or cat ears.

So Blake proposed a game team RWBY could play while Weiss searched Jacques’ computer. They would all sneak out of the dining hall, snoop around the mansion and see who could find Weiss first. Blake was the first to stealth her way out of the dining hall using her semblance. Ruby created a scene by rushing past the waitresses to outside the dining hall- security proceeded to chase her down. Yang was immediately caught trying to escape the dining hall and stopped by security. She tried to explain that the crazy girl in red was her sister and pretended Ruby had some kind of mental condition which required Yang to be with her. The security didn't buy it, asking Yang to wait in the dining hall until they could find her.

Yang texted Ruby and Blake "Mission failed. You guys are on your own." Blake chuckled at the remark as she wandered through the mansion considering where to look for Weiss. She quickly ends up lost because there are no clear directions around the house. Nevertheless, she keeps wandering while avoiding any servants passing by. Almost all servants in the Shnee manor are Faunus. It is doubtful that they will find much better jobs in Atlas unless they want to risk their lives in the dust mines.

However, Blake is caught by a tall, refined woman with white hair and a bottle of vodka as she turns a corner leading to a series of paintings showing knights in shining armour. Blake assumes this must be Weiss' mother.
