The first needle of pain increased into a cavalcade of suffering that knocked you to your knees. You looked at your hands and saw long red spikes stabbing your veins, connecting to them, drinking your blood directly from the source. You wanted to scream, but you couldn't get anything from your covered mouth.

You looked up and saw Ishtar, in her full devil presence.

"I didn't say it would be pleasant to you." She said, but her voice was coming out of your mouth. Then you felt like something was pushing you out from your body, losing touch with all the senses and ripping your consciousness away. You were...

... Feeling ecstatic. Pain was no stranger of yours, and this mortals shell would serve you well, even if genders didn't match. You sighed, but thought that it doesn't matter in the end. It wasn't the first time you had something extra between your legs.

The connection was stable and previous host was moved into your pocket dimension. You were considering leaving him inside his body, so he could observe and feel everything, but you knew that his puny human mind would go insane already just from the pain alone, and the fun was just beginning.

You stepped away from the sight of everyone else. They were so foolishly focused on incoming enemies anyway, some already firing arrows at them. Primitive and not very effective, like most things they do.

You relaxed the drain so this husk doesn't expire too early and started to transform the body with the blood you extracted. You wouldn't need much more, but even that amount was dangerous for his health. You remembered enough of human biology that they required long times to fill back the drainage. If you pushed harder for it like a hungry harlot you once were, this body would break with it's host forever locked inside your pocket dimension. You didn't really mind that, but you had to admit that his adventures were at least interesting, so you wanted to keep him around. Also it would create a bit of an inconvenience in searching for a new host to get out from your current situation. Not everyone had a worthy cause in the end.

You looked at yourself in nearby puddle of liquid that you wouldn't dare to call water. You were quite happy with your creation, and were curious how it's going to work.

You saw that those pathetic demons are like only thirty meters away from the silly structure they called a barricade. Of course enemies could just go around and encircle or just skip this puny point of resistance, but their clearly insane or dumb commander told them to charge head on. You felt him from where you were standing. He was a glory hound, looking to get up in his ranks thanks to his victories, even such insignificant ones as that.

He was about to be very, very wrong.

Was he?
