Brian Starts Step Two

As JJ and Nicole got closer in the den and Anna enjoyed her time with Kenny, Mindy met up with Brian in the upstairs hallway, now changed into fresh dry clothes. "I haven't seen Kenny or Anna anywhere since we got back," Mindy all but growled out,

"Relax, relax, you're getting way too worked up over this," Brian said in a soothing tone, "Obviously we weren't going to be able to stop them from taking certain steps with each other, but we will redirect them to who they should be soon enough," The blonde teen continued to explain before letting out a grin as his phone buzzed a few quick times,

"Who's texting you?" Mindy asked with a set of wide eyes, "Is it, Kenny? Did he and Anna go somewhere?"

"What? No," Brian scoffed as he pushed his phone back into his pocket, "Look, you need to get a grip. You gotta stop reacting to things and start preparing for the future. Freaking out that Kenny and Anna are together right now does nothing to help us, so we plan for something that will,"

"Like what?" Mindy asked back, stepping a bit closer to Brian, "Do you have a plan?"

"I always have a plan," Brian chuckled back before abruptly bringing his arm around Mindy's back, yanking her towards him, "We need to get better acquainted," The teen murmured, his blue piercing eyes locked directly on Mindy's,

"Like...k-kissing?" Mindy stammered back, her cheeks turning red. Despite knowing being Brian's fake girlfriend would entail doing a lot of intimate activities she'd rather be saving for Kenny, it finally coming into action threw her for a loop. Mindy wasn't blind, Brian was attractive, he didn't make her weak in the knees like her crush, but that didn't mean she didn't like the attention...the wanting looks...the way his hand was currently sliding down over her ass.

"Hmm, we're gonna need to do a bit more than that...but sure, we can start with kissing," Brian's low, heavy voice replied, his hand gently reaching up and brushing her hair over her right ear.

Mindy felt a small shiver run down her body, and as Brian leaned in Mindy pulled away from the incoming kiss, "Bry...I really don't know about any of this...I was saving everything for Kenny," The slim Asian girl reminded the blonde, "I want him, I do but...I don't think I want you..."

"Mindy...we're not together, you don't have me," Brian clarified with a slight raise of his eyebrow, "This is an act, a show for everyone else, we agreed on that. Now, obviously, I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to but us batting our eyelashes and kissing on the cheek won't fool people for long and it's not like we can just close a door and pretend to moan on the other side. It's not going to sell this fantasy to anyone,"

"I know, I know..." Mindy whined back as she slowly paced in a small circle, "I just...you're attractive but I only want to be with Kenny. I don't say this to hurt your feelings but it just feels gross to do it with someone else,"

"Uh...no offense taken?" Brian said with a short half chuckle, "If you don't want to keep this up that's fine, we don't have to,"

"I don't know..." Mindy hummed as she crossed her arms, hugging her stomach as her head hung low, "Maybe can we try flirting in front of Kenny and Anna again? See if that works better this time?"

Brian let out a short sigh and nodded, "I doubt it but if you want to try it again, I'm right behind you," The teen agreed his tone light and friendly once more. Mindy gave him a thankful apologetic smile back and the pair made their way towards the stairs. They took a few steps down before pausing, the hallway below was filled with the sounds of moans and groans, and with another step, the pair caught sight of exactly what was causing it.

Kenny was letting out a few loud gasps as he came into Anna's sucking mouth, the pair coming in right at the tail-end of their risky endeavor. Mindy's jaw dropped while Brian's clenched in anger, neither able to accept that this was happening, let alone that Anna of all people would be a part of something like this."Phew...You are not shy when you start getting into it," The blonde giggled as she got to her feet,

"No fucking way..." Brian hissed, a venomous tone of pure envy dripping off his every word,

"You neither," They heard Kenny say while he was barely able to push himself off the wall and full back onto his feet, "Fuck, where did that come from?"

"I'm your girl, Ken, I told you, I want to be bad for you. I want to be able to explore and do every one of my bad little fantasies," Anna simply replied, "I hope you don't mind, or anything,"

"I'll only mind if you stop," Kenny smiled as he began to fix his pants,

And with those two quick sentences, Mindy's world began to crash down around her, nothing resonated in her head but the echoing words of Anna calling Kenny his girl and the smile that was glowing on Kenny's face. All the fantasies that the girl had built around her best friend were seemingly vanishing into a black abyss there would be no sharing their first kiss, their first time, their first anything. Kenny had a girlfriend and it wasn't her, Mindy didn't matter to him that way. Hell, Kenny didn't even tell her about it at all, the man she loved was disappearing on her all at once.

Mindy blinked a few slow times as Kenny and Anna headed into the kitchen and Brian took a few more steps down before turning back to Mindy, "Don't...." He started to say before taking a calming breath, "We can't get swayed out of our plan now, just because they are messing around doesn't mean we still can't break them up, Mindy," Brian said as the Asian girl stood silently in front of him, her eyes still locked on the kitchen doorway, "Mindy, hey, you still with me here? I know that must have stung, but you can't count yourself out,"

Mindy's mouth finally began to close and a prominent frown grew on her face, her soft brown eyes grew dark and enflamed, and her chest started to rise and fall with sharp seething breaths, "You know what..." Mindy finally uttered as her fists clenched.
