Dan knew he shouldn't push his luck. He had a feeling his mother might know if he did peek at her. "Okay," he called once he had his eyes closed.

Laura seemed to pause for an undeterminable time and wait before sitting up. Dan feel her moving on the bed. A little shift and subsequent ripple on the mattress told him she shifted her butt.

"You have your eyes closed, right?" Laura asked.

"Yeah," Dan answered with a shrug.

A quick shift of the mattress and the sound of flesh hitting flesh echoed in his ears. He had a feeling his mother had just taken off her shirt. Images of the stolen accidental glance in the mirror days previously helped him imagine what he might be seeing. Her large fleshy orbs hit her stomach as the bottom of her shirt came up.

Laura seemed to wait before another small explosion of moments came from his mother. He wondered what she'd been waiting for. Before he could ask, his mother's bodyweight resettled on the mattress. She turned over and scooted back a little.

"Are you okay?" she asked a moment later.

"Yeah. You good?" Dan said, still keeping his eyes closed.

"You can open them again. Scoot up and hold me, please," she mumbled.

"Gladly."

Dan wrapped his arm around his mother and drew her in close. She murmured something that he couldn't hear. "Get some sleep," he said.
