Chapter 3 by Thotar Thotar

What story are we following Neo on?

She's an urban legend haunting the men of Beacon!

Team RWBY and JNPR sat at their usual spots at lunch. It was a weekend, which meant they were in no particular rush. The current topic of conversation had begun to die down, so Yang took the opportunity to bring up a rumor she's been hearing.

"So... Have you guys heard about the rumor going around? The one about the ghost?"

"Ghost?" Weiss asked in a very skeptical tone, "I get that it's that time of year, but seriously Yang?"

"I'm being serious! I've heard from a few people that they've seen a small, pale figure when they're alone on the campus of Beacon!" Yang said.

"If that's the case, then why haven't any of us seen it? Pyrrha and I train late at night by ourselves, and I've never seen it." Blake asked.

"Because it only appears to men! Even then, she only appears once per man! The rumor says that she disappears the moment you try to get proof of her." Yang explained, her passion surprising the group. Somehow, it seemed she was serious about this.

"Why only men? They aren't exactly common at Beacon. Does the ghost only want to suck the souls out of men or something?" Blake asked for more explanation.

Yang actually took on a blushed face at the explanation she was about to give.

"Well, no... It doesn't suck their _souls_" Yang trailed off.

"Well then what is it sucking— oh." Blake realized the answer to her question and immediately went silent. Ruby looked confused, but Weiss just groaned.

"There is no way that there is a ghost doing... That... On campus! It just doesn't make any sense!" Weiss complained

"It's also not physically possible!" Blake added.

"That too!"

It seems Ruby finally figured out what 'that' meant, and she flushed crimson, like the rest of the table was.

"Why would a ghost even do that anyway? What would they get from it?" Ruby asked curiously.

"That's why I wanted to ask you guys about it!" Yang yelled.

"Why would we know anything about such a ridiculous rumor?!" Weiss nearly shrieked.

"Well it wasn't just to you! I figured I'd also ask the only men we're friends with!" Yang said, looking towards Jaune and Ren.

She expected to see flushed faces at the topic, but that wasn't what she saw. Ren had his normal neutral look, but Jaune... There was something more in the blush he wore. Was that... Guilt?

"What! Do you know something Jaune?!" Yang demanded from him, which was surprisingly backed up from Weiss.

"Uhhh... Well, I don't know anything about a ghost, but I've certainly been haunted these last few weeks." Jaune said awkwardly, not at all expecting to explain this at lunch today.

Pyrrha looked at Jaune with a confused look. "What do you mean, Jaune?"

He sighed, "Well, ever since I put Cardin in his place a few months ago, I've felt like I'm being watched. I never got a great look, only glimpses of a petite figure watching me. A little bit after that though, it was no longer a feeling." He was cut off by Weiss interrupting him.

"That's all?!" She questioned.

"Let him finish!" Pyrrha said diplomatically, and Weiss backed down sheepishly.

"Anyway, one night I was walking back from the locker room by myself. I turned down an empty hallway, and Boom! There she was!"

"She?" Nora asked.

"She." Jaune confirmed, "She's a few inches shy of 5 foot tall and pale as a ghost. Her hair is a vibrant solid pink. Her eyes are green, but the shade feels... Off... everytime I see her. She always starts in the same outfit, with slight variations."

"As I was saying, her looks aren't natural, but she's certainly not a ghost... I'm not sure I'd call her human though." Jaune finished his explanation of her character, and began to recount that night:

"She looked at me, completely silently. She gestures me towards her. From a distance, she didn't look abnormal, so I figured she was lost. Just when I got close enough to her, she suddenly closed the gap. The moment she touched me, the world shifted. It was like we were in our own little world, but I knew I was still physically in the hallway. It's really hard to explain. Imagine the walls are still there, but instead of being concrete, they were instead windows. They can show whatever she wants them to. The first night, I think they showed a beach?"

I'm getting off topic, the next thing I know, she's pushing me against the wall. She tilted her head at me, to get my consent, I suppose, once I gave it, she dove in. We kissed for a while, but you've gotta understand, she's relentless! The next thing I knew, her outfit disappears and she's kissing her way down my chest and I've got my hands dug in her hair as she—"

"Spare us the details please!" Ruby asked her fellow leader, to the disappointment of some people at table.

"Right. Anyway, we didn't go further than that. She showed up, spit-polished the Arc family sword, then..."

"Did you finish?" Blake asked graphically.

"Blaaaaake!" Ruby complained, but Jaune nodded anyway.

"She was like, really good. Supernaturally even! After I uhh, finished, she stood up, winked at me, and disappeared without a trace. Like literally, in the blink of an eye, she was gone! The hallways changed back to normal, and suddenly I was standing in the hallway again, pants around my ankles."

Yang looked thoughtful for a minute. "You said 'everytime'. What did you mean about that?"

"Well that was just the first time she visited!" Jaune explained.

"You've seen her more than once?" Yang asked, leaning forward. Jaune nodded.

"Really? The rumor is very clear! Every guy only sees her once! How do you know it's her?" Yang demanded to know.

"Do you know any other cock-sucking demons that can change reality and disappear?" Jaune challenged, not liking having his honor challenged. Weiss scoffed.

"Point taken! Did she do anything else that was supernatural?" Yang asked.

"She was freakishly strong for her size. The main thing though, was just her tendencies. I don't really know how to describe it. She's vicious. When she has you alone, she looks you dead in the eyes and you're terrified but also hard as a rock (Ruby and Pyrrha both blush at this). You aren't a huntsman, you're prey and it's terrifying." Jaune explained why he was so sure this was the subject of the rumor.

"If she's so terrifying, why do you keep sleeping with her?" Blake asked carefully.

"I'm a man, Blake. I really, really, really like getting head." Jaune explained bluntly. Blake couldn't argue with that logic.

"Is it, umm, only head?" Ruby asked sheepishly. Jaune shook his head,

"After the first few times, she's gone further. She's also been giving me more control recently..." Jaune elaborated.

"I can't believe you guys are believing Jaune and Yang on this ridiculous rumor!" Weiss scoffed.

"Hey! I'm an Arc! I swear to you that I'm telling the truth here!" Jaune pleaded.

"There's no way there is some slut, demon, or ghost fellating her way through Beacon! It doesn't make any sense!" Weiss put her foot down on the nonsense she was growing tired of.

"Want to bet on that, Weiss?" Yang challenged. Today was far from the first time Yang had heard about this rumor, even if it was the first she'd heard Jaune's perspective. The sources were scattered, but there had to be a basis in truth, right?

"I do actually! We'll investigate this 'Fellating phantom' for a month. If you can't prove she is real to a judge of our choosing, I win!" Weiss challenged.

Yang smirked at her, projecting confidence, even though her actual confidence was much lower. She didn't tend to believe in rumors, but she also really wanted to believe in this one. Besides, Jaune put his word on this one! That counted for something!

"I'll take that bet! Since you've been so doubtful that vomit boy has actually managed to get his cock sucked, when I win, you have to 'spit-polish the Arc family sword' as the kids say, on demand, until next semester!"

Weiss flushed deeply, furious that Yang would ask such stakes of HER!

"Not in a million years!"

"Then admit that he's telling the truth!" Yang countered.

"N-Never! Fine! But when I win, you have to serve me tea in the gardens once a week for the same time period—" Weiss began.

"Of course you would want something so pretentious—" Yang was cut off.

"Wearing only an apron!" Weiss finished with a smirk. Yang looked at her, completely shocked at the words coming from the heiress's mouth.

Yang hesitated for a second, then shook the heiress's hand. Yang and Weiss were both confident externally, but very nervous inside. Jaune was just happy he was getting his cock sucked, assuming they could prove it's existence.

"Are you guys sure about this?" Ruby asked nervously. Both girls nodded, even if they were just as anxious inside.

"Who's going to be the judge?" Pyrrha asked.

"It needs to be someone unbiased. They can't be a man, and they can't already believe in the rumor... How about Velvet?" Weiss offered. Yang was surprised Weiss would offer a Faunus, but she was in agreement.

"Deal." Yang accepted.

"So... How are we going to prove the existence of this 'Sucking Spirit' if it doesn't let you take photos?" Blake asked reasonably.

"We could tail Jaune?" Pyrrha offered.

"I swear if you guys cost me my free blowjobs..." Jaune lamented. Ren nodded his support. You can deny a man dignity, but head? That was too far.

"What about witnesses? Surely there's plenty of guys who have experienced this ghost, right?" Weiss asked.

"We're like detectives!" Nora said excitedly.

"Since we're investigating Ominous Oral, shouldn't we be called, 'Dicks'?" Yang asked, causing everyone to groan.

"That's enough of that! It's time we begin investigating!" Weiss kicked things into motion.

How do they begin investigating?
