Talk to Prof Hartley first

You suppose that Steffi is probably pissed, so you decide that it might be better to talk to her later. Instead of going after her, you step towards the front of the classroom, where your professor is still answering some questions.

You wait for her to finish before introducing yourself.

"Hello Professor, I'm John, thank you for teaching us this class, I hope this semester goes on smoothly."

"Nice to meet you John, I do hope so too. If you have any questions or topics that you don't understand, don't hesitate to ask during or after class, or you can even come to my office if you prefer", she says with a caring smile.

"Thanks Professor, I'll make sure to work hard and not bother you too much", you say before parting ways.

"Whew, that went better than expected", you think to yourself as you leave the room.
