A Flower

A giant flower with vibrant petals seems to be the source of all the plant life in the greenhouse. The sheer size of the flower seems physically impossible but you reach out to touch one of the petals and it feels real enough.

"Maybe leave the giant flower in the nightmare house alone?"

"Uh, right. Sorry..." You mutter as you follow your friends towards the house. But when Jenny reaches for the door roots suddenly wrap around the door handles and bind them shut. The three of you turn in shock back to the flower and watch as it begins to move. The actual flower rises from the ground, still attached by some root to the rest of the plant, and turns to the three of you. It's petals open to reveal an empty space where the stamen should be. Instead you see more light green roots or vines emerging from within, reaching towards the three of you. Your mind scrambles trying to figure out a way to escape the monster plant.
