Nurse's office

Chiron had one of the other students, Sambita, a shark girl, take Cora to the infirmary. Cora was surprised to see that the nurse was a lizard girl.

"Hello, my name is Lizzie." she said.

Lizzie examined Cora's neck.

"The bite wasn't too deep. You should be okay. Honestly, I don't know why Chiron thought pairing a cat girl with a dog girl would be a good idea."

After Cora left the office, she talked with Sambita.

"Sorry about Cerebia. She doesn't like cat girls much." said Sambita.

"I thought living in Monster Girl society would allow me to get away from that kinda thing." said Cora.

"Afraid not. Many Monster Girls hate other types of Monster Girl. Dog girls hate cat girls, vampires hate werewolves, angels hate demons. Anyway, our next class is monster studies."

The teacher, Veronica Carter, was a beetle girl. Her relation was quiet complicated. Her ancestor Randolph Carter was a human who swapped bodies with a Yith, an ancient race with the powers of temporal body swapping. At the time, the Yith were inhabiting the bodies of a beetle race. Despite this, Randolph was still able to find a human woman, resulting in a lineage of beetle girls. Cora and Sambita decided to sit with Alicia and a blue slime girl named Blue.

"Okay, class. I'm going to be teaching you monster studies. Today, we will be looking at Djinns." said Veronica.

Veronica explained that the Djinn were a species created by gods prior to the birth of humans.

Unfortunately, the most powerful Djinn, Iblis, convinced the others to exterminate the humans. As punishment, the gods cursed the surviving Djinns so they could only use their powers to service humans.

However the Djinn still use a lot of loophole **** to make people suffer misfortune.

"The Djinn are technically omnipotent but only through granting wishes. However they don't need anyone to say 'I wish'. Expressing any desire will allow them to use their powers to make that desire come true. In fact, you don't even need to verbalise it. Merely thinking it is enough to trigger the effect."
