Misty

Misty, Ash's first traveling companion who had accompanied him throughout both Kanto and Johto, was currently facing him with her back. She was dressed in her usual outfit, consisting of a yellow top and short denim shorts, held up by two red suspenders that were strapped over her shoulders. She wore a pair of red and white sports shoes and her orange hair was held up in a side ponytail by a blue hair band. As they continued to walk along the path that led through the woods, Misty hadn't yet noticed that her traveling companion had stopped in his tracks to pick up an unknown remote from the side of the path.

As Ash went to catch up with her again, he kept looking down at the remote he now held in his hands and wondered what it might be for. Intrigued as he was, Ash ended up pressing one of the buttons, unaware of the fact that it was pointed straight at Misty and of the effect it would have.
