You are a college student and single

You come from a poor family, your dad abandons you and your mother at the age of 5. The only thing he left behind is the trailer you and your mother currently lives in. In order to earn a living, your mother become a prostitute. You hated your father and even more so hated men, you vowed to never to end up like your mother. You work extra hard so that one day you and your mother can leave this hell hole. Despite being the prettiest girl in high school, you never had any friend. It might be due to your mother’s occupation or it might be due to you working too hard and ignoring everyone else.

Due to your academic achievements, you were accepted to one of the most prestigious universities in the nation on a scholarship. Everyone in this school are children of the rich and famous, in your mind you think of them as spoilt brat. With this kind of mindset, it was even harder for you to be friends with anyone. Your mother on the other hand strongly encourages you to find a boyfriend in school, this way lives will only become easier.

One day, you were studying in the school library and a guy came to sit beside you.

Toby: “Hey. You are Lili right? We are in the same class for AP Calculus. Can I ask you a question about the AP Calculus assignment?”

At first, you wanted to ignore him but when you saw it was Toby, you couldn’t help but smile at him. Toby is one of your classmates that you envy the most. He is the smartest in class, ace swimmer for the swimming pool team and the son of the richest tycoon in the nation. You actually wanted to join his mother’s company as she is one of your personal heroes.

You: “Oh… No problem, this is what you need to do…….”

Toby:” Thanks man. You are really smart. If you don’t mind, can we be study buddies from now on? Beside you, I don’t think anyone will be able to challenge me academic wise. I believe the benefits will be mutual as well.”
