Chapter 24 by globalman1235
What did she do?
She didn't make any further changes for now.
In the end, Ash decided that she would leave her sister unchanged and put the remote back into her bag. Heading over to her bed, Ash slipped under the sheets, wished her sister a good night, and soon drifted off into a pleasant sleep.
Waking up the next morning, the two twin sisters got ready as usual and left the Pokémon-Center in the direction of Mt. Moon. After a short walk, they reached the entrance of the large cave leading through the mountain and swiftly entered. This being the most direct route to Cerulean City, the walls of the main path through were fitted with both lighting and signage that indicated the correct way through the cave. Thus, Ash and Dawn had no trouble navigating the route and soon reached a larger chamber, from which, aside from the main path, another arm of the cave branched off.
At the entrance to this branch, they could see a girl intently studying the walls of the cave. She had brown hair, tied into two pigtails with a red bow and was dressed in an outfit that looked similar to a school uniform. The main part of the outfit consisted of a sleeveless gray uniform skirt with a lighter rectangular print at its hem, which sat over a white undershirt with short sleeves. She wore a pink, tie-like scarf around her neck as well as pink tights and black shoes. As she took in the looks of the girl, Ash finally recognized her as Roxanne, the Leader of the Rustboro City Gym in Hoenn. Deciding to find out what she was doing, the twins approached her before Dawn spoke up.
"Hey, what are you looking for?" Dawn asked the girl, drawing her attention.
"Me? Oh, I'm looking to see if I can maybe find some fossils in these caves," she answered, turning around to face the two. "My name is Roxanne, by the way. I'm a Gym Leader from Hoenn."
"Nice to meet you, Roxanne," Ash smiled at the Gym Leader. "My name is Dawn, and this is my twin sister Ashley. We're both trainers from Sinnoh."
"Well, nice to meet you too," Roxanne returned the smile.
"So, you said you were looking for fossils. Are they commonly found here in Mt. Moon?" Dawn asked, clearly interested.
"I wouldn't say they're common, but there has been a good number of discoveries here in the past, so I'm fairly confident," Roxanne answered, looking over the entrance of the cave again.
As Dawn and Roxanne continued to talk about the possibility of finding any fossils in Mt. Moon, Ash considered her options. Roxanne seemed like a good target to use the remote on, so she was very inclined to do just that. She could very well turn her into yet another human Pokémon, or use her to test out some of the still unknown buttons. Still, she could also just keep reality as it was and use the remote some other time.
What did she decide on?
