"Can we go sit in your car?" Millie asked, with a spring in her step.

You decided to take Millie to your Car, It was nice and quiet in there... and apparently, Millie was a big fan of it, she spoke at hundred miles an hour, about how she always like the look of older cars and had never actually been in a Torino before.

Strange, her family were rich enough to buy her 7 Gran Torino's if that was her wish.

"Why don't you just... ask your dad for one?" You asked as you came out into the daylight, walking beneath oaken trees with golden leaves, ready to fall and paint the world with red and brown.

"Yeah, right. My daddy barely lets me have my monthly allowance, let alone a car." She laughed it off, but as she spoke more and more, you got the impression that Camile Bruce really didn't get much of anything, she did not live at home with her Brother and Father but instead had her own apartment in the Eastside.

"It's quaint I guess, nothing like Daddy's house, or even my Uncles house. But you know, I manage." She said chipperly.

You listened and listened, as Camile followed you out to student parking, where you'd left your car last night... not that you'd driven in this morning... not that Millie needed to know that.

When you both came to the Torino, Camile exploded with excitement "Oh my god, oh my god, look at it! it's so pretty!!"

You chuckled as you walked around to let her into the passenger side, god if she was excited then, now that you were both in the car it was like a dam was broken.

"Hey, hey easy... it's just a car."

"It's not just a car..." Millie sulked, before going a little quiet "A Boy hasn't invited me to their car before. I'm just glad that it's a nice car... and a nice boy." She smiled, before huffing "I'm sorry."

"For what?" You asked.

She smiled "See, you don't even know... All those times, Vicky and Izzy were mean, I-I never said anything... I'm sorry."

You huffed "I'm trying to put all of it behind me now. I... I was wrong about you three, You're good people, and I care about Izzy and Vicky, more than they know."

Camile pushed back her thick black hair "You're just so... good. How come I didn't realise before?"

"Cuz your a dumb-dumb?" You chuckled

"Careful." She warned playfully. "I was wondering... Why do you have so many girlfriends?"

You paused.

"S-Sorry, I guess that's kinda personal?"

"No no, it's fine... I just, I never really thought about it. Just feels, natural I guess? It's like, I have so much love to give, and I will protect everyone that I care about until I drop. But... I guess it's also greed, every time I think I'm done, another girl comes and steals my heart." You gave her a wink, Camile flushed.

"Well.." She straightened out, folded her arms "I'm... I'm a Christian, My dad is super catholic so... I couldn't be like the others, but I want to try and spend some time with you, I like you, You're funny and caring... and just, different than I expected."

"Well, you're a lot more clever than people give you credit for." You said sweetly.

Camile grinned ear to ear.

"So, I've got some ideas for our date."

"Ooooh, is it fun? or maybe really cool? tell me!" Millie begged.

"Tut-Tut, patience, I think it'll be better as a surprise."

Camile grouched "Hmf, fine. but only because you're cute." She quickly became curious "Have you, ever been out with a black chick before?"

"Does Jane count?" You asked.

"Kinda. I guess I'm technically your first then, yay!" She laughed and smiled, and at that moment, you knew that she'd make a good date indeed "I hope we get doughnuts!!!"
