They headed back to the Pokémon-Center.

After leaving the Pewter City Gym, Ash and Dawn made their way back to the Pokémon-Center to have Nurse Joy take care of Misty. Once Misty returned from the nurse's care, they were planning on eating together with all their Pokémon. However, that meant that they first had to get Misty to be more comfortable around Ash's Viola. It took the two trainers a while, but they finally managed to get Misty to sit at the same table as her. As far away from each other as possible, of course.

The group enjoyed their break as they all happily ate, Ash and Dawn sharing a plate of rice balls while their Pokémon each had their own bowl of Pokémon food. As they were eating, Viola tried interacting with Misty, who was still rather hesitant, but over time got a bit more comfortable around the bug-type Pokémon. It seemed as though the two Pokémon slowly grew a little closer with one another.

With their meal finished, the twins returned their Pokémon to their Pokéballs and went back to the Pokémon-Center lobby. There, they noticed a poster on the wall next to the reception. As they got closer to the poster, they saw that it was advertising the Underwater Ballet of the Cerulean City Gym Leaders.

"Are you also interested in the Underwater Ballet?" they heard as they were approached by two girls from behind.

The first girl was dressed in a dark gray top with a white collar and a red skirt as well as black stockings and shoes. Her honey-blonde hair reached down to her shoulders and was tied at the bottom with a black hair tie. The top of her head was covered by a dark pink hat with a black bow. Next to her stood a girl with tan skin, her brown hair kept in curly pigtails. She wore a dark pink T-shirt with three black bows at the front, denim short shorts with black frills at the bottom that hugged her ass tightly and pink, heeled shoes.

"Oh, we just noticed the poster," Dawn replied. "But it does look interesting, right Dawn?"

"Yes, it does," Ash agreed. "We're headed to Cerulean City anyways, so we could definitely go watch it while we're there."

"Would you mind if we joined you on the way there?" the brown-haired girl asked. "It should be fun if we traveled as a group."

"Sounds good to me," Dawn told the two, then turned to Ash. "What about you, Sis?"

"I would like that too," said Ash.

"Great, I'm happy to hear that," the honey-blonde girl smiled. "My name is Serena, and this is my friend Shauna. We're both Pokémon Performers from the Kalos Region."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ashley and this is my twin sister Dawn. We're from the Sinnoh region," Dawn introduced herself and her sister. "While my sister is a Pokémon Coordinator, I want to challenge the Gyms of the Kanto Region to compete in the Indigo League."

"So, you came all the way from Kalos to watch the Underwater Ballet in Cerulean City?" Ash asked the girl that had introduced herself as Serena.

"In part, yes," Serena began. "We want to travel through Kanto to find inspiration for new elements to include in our Showcases."

"What about you, Dawn?" Shauna asked Ash.

"I mainly want to support my sister on her journey," Ash told her. "But I also want to find many new Pokémon that I can compete in contests with."

"Say, could you tell me a bit about Pokémon Showcases?" a curious Dawn asked. "I haven't really heard about those before."

"Sure thing," Shauna agreed as the two Kalosians began telling Dawn about Pokémon Showcases.

Meanwhile, Ash thought about using the remote again. The two girls seemed to be interesting targets, but she could also just leave the remote aside for now and enjoy the journey with them normally.
