Chapter 289
by
[KingDucky]
What's next?
Lullaby of Woe
Compared to before, the halls were now empty, the Bell had screamed through the hallways, which were long and spiralling like a maze, with its trophy decorations, areas for the rows of Lockers, rows of clinically cold steel.
You walked on silent feet, in a silent place, peering quickly into classes to see the classes conducted inside.
The feeling of walking in this oddly empty Kassam where life and population usually resided, made you feel deeply eery... most of today had that deep insidious feeling, maybe it was just because of your thoughts on the way to the library.
His knowledge on what was out there was limited, He knew of the Undead, He knew of the Witches, He knew of his family the descendants... but what more could he possibly have to face? How much was he expected to protect and defend, and from what?
The sides of your temples hurt dizzyingly, crashing in on you like a wave as You nearly slipped off of your feet, staggering into a locker. "Ah." You grunted, clutching your ears as they began to violently ring with pain.
THE WORLD SLITHERS, **** IS OUR PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE, YOU HAVE BEEN CONTAINING THIS FOR TOO LONG. HOW MANY TIMES MUST YOU MAKE THIS MISTAKE? RESTRAINT IS IMPORTANT, BUT DESIRE... IS FOREVER. IF YOU CONTINUE ON THIS COURSE, THEN YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING BUT REGRET.
"No, no no no no. Not again. Stop." He whispered, his body shaking, his mind quivering, as a world of darkness came crashing down. "Anchor, anchor..." He tried to make it work, but it would not come.
Anchor has neither the power nor the authority to permanently stop the forces that influence us now, You must accept this darkness, You must master it. This is the only way. cracks keep appearing in the glass, I can only hold it all together for so long... I cannot keep protecting us.
"I don't... need... protection." You **** yourself back to your feet, wiping the sweat from your brow, ignoring the storm in your stomach and the blinding darkness in your mind "I will get through this, I will not break. I am Warrior"
You will be a monster, before the end.
You pushed off your heel, ignoring this feeling, Ignoring the pain and pushing forward... at least physically.
You'd spent a lot of time, In the East Wallace library, toiling over book after book where you could find peace and solace from your bullies... and spend time with jane. You always felt at home amongst tall shelves filled with books, they reminded You of sitting in your father's observatory, watching him sat quietly, smoking a pipe while writing in his black journal, having placed a stack of books in front of you expectantly.
It is why when you walked down the hall and through the archway into the wide hall, filled with high shelves of hundreds and hundreds of books, You could not help but feel a lot more relaxed and relieved.
Moving along the white birchwood floors, absorbing the light that shone through the high windows. The library was split amongst the tall shelves, where to the right there was general seating, couches of red velvet to sit on and read leisurely, perhaps for the many clubs and groups to meet during scheduled times, the school loved nothing more than punctuality to justify the ridiculous amounts that they'd spend on luxury for their rich blooded students.
In the centre was the Reception, where one could borrow books... at great risk of the incredibly diligent librarian, who would hunt one to the ends of the earth, upon a failed return of one of the Academy's sacred collections.
At this time in the morning, You saw little students gathering dusted tomes, ascending the variety of creaky steps to ascend to the higher sections, where many books were left untouched. A few bookworms greeted you, the boys sparingly and the girls with great flushes on their faces, still you paid no mind, popping in and out of the concealed spaces with your great speed, to collect the additions and textbooks needed for today's session.
Hoisting the great stack of books under your broad arms, You carried them with little effort, warranting the staring of those attending the shelves.
Smiling, You carried the stack along, to the Libraries most prominent Area; the Study hall, composed of a wide carpeted space, separated by tall cubicles, varying in size.
Some were fit for entire classes to sit within, set up with storage for tech, like laptops, mice, keyboards.... and Macs for your more imprudent students.
...Mac might just be easier to use? Asshole
"Easier to use for middle-aged mothers, 17-year-old privileged CEOs and Every hipster ever born."
There was also, however, many triple, single, and most importantly, double Cubicals numbered 1A to 5D, and just as You considered which one Victoria might have chosen... You heard a voice floating on the air, faint... but beautiful.
"Ashen fur, shadowed claw, the cold of the snow is harsh on the paw..."
The voice was low and enchanting, it slipped through the air like a beast trudging through the cold.
"Chilling winds bellow, they tickle my tail, as I rest amongst stone, a shelter from hail
And when the storm ends, and I emerge from rain, and I will walk with my blood forever again.
_We shall trek with glee and feel no pain, as we walk forever, again." _Carefully, you crept towards cubical 3C and pressed your ear lightly against the thin wall, keeping clear of the gab into the space... were with a peak, You managed to spot Victoria Kaz, doodling on a sheet of paper while singing and humming to herself quietly.
_"Rest and sleep and the sleet will clear, the snow, the frost~will all disappear
The moon will rise, the cats will purr, we shake the snow from our matted fur
And as we bolt through rough terrain, I will walk with my blood forever again.
With jittering tounges and a messy main, we will walk with our bloods forever the same." _
The song was gentle and warming to the heart. _"A lullaby?" _You ascertained.
Although, despite feeling ready to reveal yourself... Vicky began to sing an altogether different Lullaby, one that you did not at all expect.
"Wolves asleep amidst the trees
Bats all are swaying in the breeze
But one soul lies anxious wide awake
Fearing all manner of ghouls, hags and wraiths..."
HOL'DUP, WAIT A MINUTE--SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT!?
Your eyes widened... You knew this one, but that's... this had to be a mistake?
"...For your dolly, Polly sleep has flown
Don't dare let her tremble alone
For the witcher, heartless, cold
Paid in coin of gold
He comes he'll go leave nought behind
But heartache and woe
Deep, deep woe..."
Victoria Kaz, destroyer of geeks, wrecker of education, bane of all Nerds... was singing the Lullaby of Woe, FROM THE WITCHER 3? VICTORIA KAZ PLAYS THE WITCHER 3!?
In your shock, you stood unaware that you were visible, looking at Vicky with wide eyes and your jaw on the floor.
The Dark Vixen eventually scratched her nose, briefly looking up inconsequentially. That however changed very quickly, as she double took, and leaned back in her seat jolting at the sight of your awe.
Then anger and confusion filled her as she got up, marching in silent fury towards the entrance to the cubical. You did not move, you were completely petrified by this unimaginable revelation. The Queen Bitch poked her head out in panic, looking to check that the coast was clear before grasping your collar and dragging you in... before closing the shutter to the entrance, built so that students could privately study.
These booths were soundproofed to minimise any disturbance... or cheating via eavesdropping on further progressed classes, it was with this confidence that Victoria; red-faced and embarrassed pointed her talon into your chest "Where you eavesdropping on me!? what the hell!? you can't just sneak up on people like that, the least you could do is let me know you're there while I've been waiting for you for like..." She checked her watch which shone with gold "...F-Five minutes, do you even want to tutor me, are you even taking this seriously--"
"Were you, just singing the Lullaby of Woe, from The Witcher 3?" You spoke slowly, probingly, she could try and draw attention away from it as obviously as she'd like, you HAD TO KNOW HOW SHE KNEW THAT SONG!
Vicky frowned, brushing back her silky black hair, which was tied back tightly and neatly behind her head. "I... It's..." She pushed her lips together as if holding in a world of irritation. Although that dam certainly didn't stay up for very long "...It's the DLC, the Blood and Wine expansion, technically..." She spoke.
You stood as a statue, completely locked in place as your mind blew out of both of your ears, splattering the walls.
Stop exaggerating.
"FUCK YOU, SHE PLAYS THE WITCHER 3!"
Vicky seemed to grow uncomfortable "Stop staring at me like that, Nerd."
"Nerd? NERD!? YOU PLAY THE WITCHER 3, SPECIFICALLY THE DLC AND HAVE MEMORISED THE LULLABY OF WOE... YOU. ARE. A. NERD. HOLY SHIIIIIIIT!?" You creased under your own weight, pulling one of the chairs out from the small table, sitting in disbelief.
Vicky went red again "Don't call me a fucking Nerd, You're a Nerd, I am perfect!" She spoke, despite her grimace.
"Hey... I should put a Steel sword and a Golden sword on your back so you can slay other bullies, Madam Geek!" You chuckled maliciously.
"It's a SILVER sword, Steel and SILVER!" She snapped before her face fell.
But yours brightened.
"Wait... no, I mean... UGH, I AM NOT A NERD."
"Maybe not." You smiled, sitting back in the chair "...But you most definitely are a hypocrite. Now sit down, come on we have something important to talk about.
Vicky stood with her arms folded at first, but eventually caved and sat down, her arms still tightly constricted together.
"Thank you. Now, we have a slight issue off the back of an email I got this morning from Mr Harrow... no need to look scared, there was a meeting among Faculty yesterday and we are having a slight change in the curriculum." You explained as professionally and clearly as possible.
"Does that mean... the work we've done is useless?" She seemed plenty worried, Vicky had clearly put a lot of effort into her work prior.
"No, everybody's
work from before is still being counted, but the subject matter has been changed due to... some lost files or something, I don't know... what I do know is that we..." You'd felt even more foreboding reading the email while cooking Bonnie breakfast, saying it allowed was even more so "Now, it seems Mr Harrow's idea of working in teams has been taken too well since they voted that as a substitute... we'll be making studies on... each other."
"What do you mean, studies on each other?" She asked suspiciously.
You sighed, your finger tracing the stack of books which you had placed beside you on the floor "To further show our understanding of the deeper themes of Macbeth and conflict, we should pick a partner who we don't know very well or have had issues with in the past, and perform... a modest evaluation."
Good god, what did you do to warrant this?
Vicky sat back in her chair, mulling it over. "So I have to make a Paper... about You?"
"And I about You, yes." You confirmed.
The Queen Bitch seemed to soften then, and relaxed "Okay, fine. Let's get to work then."
"You're not... upset?" You asked lowly.
"A-Are you?" was that, shiness in her voice? Ugh, you really didn't want to start getting into the complexities of Vicky's character.
"Look, I just want to fix my grades and Pass. I have so much going on right now, I'd prefer to just get work." You admitted.
She crossed her arms "Fine, then. Where should we start?"
You smiled "Maybe we should start with your Nerdity, Lady Witcher."
"I. am not. a Nerd." She repeated sternly "I just..." but there was hesitation behind her eyes.
If you wanted to pass... then you needed to know Victoria Kaz like the back of your hand, You weren't a fan of half-assing things, especially not concerning your work to complete your education.
And so... for the first time, You completely swallowed your pride and lowered yourself of your high horse. "Look, I want to get this done amicably, we've already agreed that we aren't going to clash anymore so... I'm sorry if I come off as irritated, I just... it's hard talking to you, every time you touch me or speak to me, I just feel defeated, small, weak..."
Victoria's eyes became misty as she looked ashamed and sad.
"-But... that's just because of the past, You're trying now... I appreciate it I guess." You added quickly.
Vicky rubbed her eyes, looking deeply distressed as she quickly pulled out a mirror to fix her eyeshadow.
There was quiet after this for a few minutes as she instantaneously retrieved a gucci make-up bag from her rucksack and rapidly began to repair the damage her prospective tears had done to her carefully applied blush.
"Do you... always wear make-up?" You found yourself asking, trying to change the subject.
Vicky huffed "Yeah."
You raised an eyebrow "Every day?"
"Yes, Charlie." She replied slightly exasperated. You felt odd, it was... nice, to hear her call you by your actual name, instead of Dicky-Drake, or shithead, or Orphan, or Nerd, or cunt, or bitch........ Vicky noticed your dissatisfaction pausing for a moment before continuing "Why?"
"I just... I don't recall ever seeing you without it... even when we were kids."
She sighed and placed her brush back into its bag, You meanwhile had produced your notebook from your rucksack, procured from your locker earlier and clicked your pen. She noticed this and hesitated before allowing her shoulders to relax into the back of the comfortable chair.
"Do you have to take notes?" She asked.
"Yes, in fact, we should interview each other if we are going to be making papers on one another."
"Fine... I urr, ugh this just feels so unnatural." She complained.
"There's nothing natural about wearing make-up at the age of 12" You chuckled.
Your joke seemed to break the tension slightly "Yeah... well, It's all I ever really did with my Mom before she died so..."
Right... Vicky's Mom died when she was young, You understood how that felt, how it tore you up inside, leaving a hole that could never be filled as if a part of you was missing.
Vicky continued, mulling over her own thoughts "We'd sit in the backyard, by the flowers in the garden... and she'd comb my hair after I finished playing, we'd watch the stars and play with the dogs... and she'd do my make-up after I begged her too for hours. God she was so beautiful, I... I wanted to be like her." The beginnings of a smile formed on her dark lips as she reminisced.
"What was she like, if you don't mind me asking?"
Vicky nodded to herself and looked on at you with a smile "She was unlike anyone I've ever met, definitely not like me. She was White for one, Blonde too, Hazel eyes... They were so bright and alive. She was taller than my dad, broader too, she was a lot like your little Carer friend actually, maybe a bit less pent up.
She always loved to laugh and run around with me, would always wrestle and hug our dogs... she loved those dogs, her hands were so soft that she could pet them for days and they would still never be satisfied. She was a Vet before she met my dad in Cappadocia, she had flown out to work with an animal care movement... Her family was long gone by then, My dad really pissed her off at first but, he was a different guy then."
You didn't expect her to open up to you so readily, it was... surprising refreshing.
"I mean it uh... It's hard to describe, but she was serious seriously beautiful, I was so scared that I'd never get it, so I had her teach me how she did make-up and all that... and I just haven't stopped I guess?"
You had filled a page, in 30 seconds. "Wow, she really sounds like something."
"She was." Vicky briefly smiled, before looking sad again.
You knew that Vicky's mother had died, most of the school did... they knew better than to even mention it behind her back, but nobody knew how. Still, you didn't want her to feel alone in this, because she wasn't and that would be selfish.
"I envy you." You admitted.
Vicky turned her dark eyes back to you "What?"
"I don't even really remember what my mother looked like."
"Oh... I'm sorry."
"It's okay, I came to terms with it a long time ago. Plus there is a portrait of her back home, but..." You hesitated.
"But?" She inquired, gently but curiously.
"I don't think it's actually her. Diana doesn't either, it's... weird, she's the eldest, she actually vaguely remember Mom, and she doesn't look like the portrait." You added.
"Why, would your dad keep a fake portrait of your mother on the wall?" She asked.
You shrugged "God knows I asked time after time, but my Dad wouldn't mutter a word about her."
Vicky shifted in her seat, she had a habit of becoming restless when she was curious you noticed. "What does the Portrait look like? and did your sister ever describe her?"
You paused in thought "Well, in the portrait she is blonde, platinum blonde, but Diana said that our mother had dark hair, maybe with red streaks or something? she actually described it like her hair was black at night, but a dark maroon in the light. Her eyes were green, which is the same in the portrait, although Diana thought they were much brighter in person. And the face is apparently all wrong, apparently, my mother was the most beautiful woman that anyone had ever seen, funnily enough." You recounted
Vicky smiled warmly.
"My father... he wouldn't speak about her, but one night, we spent together... I think he noticed how distant I was becoming--he was right of course, He would vanish at Five AM every day to start work early, I was sick of barely seeing him and dealing with his bullshit, so I wanted to run away.
He pulled aside, spoke to me and insisted that I go with him, and that He would not rest until I had seen what I needed to restore my faith in him,
Even if he was cold, he had a heart, if only for his family on rare occasions. We took a drive out to the cemetery, and we sat by her grave, it was made of stained white marble on the top of the hill not far from the family crypt, He hated that crypt, swore that after Grandma died that He would never bury his wife there, so every day at Five AM, he would visit this grave, and he left the most beautiful exotic flowers he could get his hands on, and he told me just how much she went through to protect me, and love me... and running away from home, felt like a distant dream."
You'd never told anyone about that before, it felt strange saying it allowed, let alone to Victoria Kaz.
She in a little and smiled "Umm, thanks... You, didn't have to tell me that." her fingers danced across the table, and she sighed "Okay, fine I play the Witcher 3 okay... there, hope you're happy now. But I don't like other video games, they are all so boring... I just, I got it by accident. My dad bought me an Xbox, I bought it on the store thinking it was a movie, thought it was a really well animated film at first.
It was difficult, I never really played any video games, but I turned the difficulty down and I just played... and I have to say, it's one of the best things I've ever done."
"Pft, of course, it was, it's the Witcher 3, that game is a god damn masterpiece." You laughed and she joined, scratching her head.
"I didn't quite understand the story at first, because... I don't really like the first game, and the second game was weird, but the third one is so, I don't know, I just love it, I love the story, the characters, Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer, Zoltan, Dandelion, Vesemir and the other wolf school witchers, it's just comfortable?"
This was unimaginable, one of your favourite games was played by Vicky, of course, you had to prod "This is... like sureal, I love that game. Who did you end up choosing as the primary romanc--"
"--Yennefer, obviously." Vicky cut in.
You exploded "YES, EXACTLY!"
"Well, I have played it like seven times, I did try Triss... but she's just so creepy, like she's clearly not drunk at that party mission, but acts like it to get Geralt's affection, how weird is that. Yennefer is direct, straightforward... I just prefer it that way."
There was quiet for a moment as Vicky, reached down and grabbed something, she also picked up her chair and pulled it closer to you, before slapping something shyly down in front of you.
It took a moment to register before your eyes opened wide. Hidden in the back of her notepad, was a beautifully intricate line art style portrait of Yennefer of Vengeberg, the level of detail was incredible, from the full lips to the dark chocker necklace, even her silky black hair lapped on her shoulders like gentle waves.
"Wow... this is, amazing. You drew this?" You asked in wonder, too distracted to care about her closeness.
"Yeah, I used to try and copy clothing designs... it was a stupid dream I had to start a clothing line, maybe some interior decorating. I kinda got bored of the idea, but I'm good at copying from memory now."
"Good? this is great, it's art." You whispered.
Victoria's brown eyes met with yours, she was not far off now and You found yourself... admiring her. Her dark lips, soft cheekbones and round nose, how mature and careful she was in her appearance, having carefully matched her outfit, which was both modest and classy, Vicky was a lot of things, but a slut wasn't one of them, she was powerful; a **** to be reckoned with, and it showed.
"I think this is the longest time that we've made actual unbroken eye contact." Vicky pointed out.
You blinked "Oh... sorry."
"It's okay." She said quietly.
The two of you broke away from your staring, where you both scrambled to take notes. Bully and Victim... now somehow: Equals.
Back and forth, You and Vicky spoke to each other, about each other, and for a moment you felt like there was nobody else to speak with in the world, there was no more awkward pauses, no more animosity, just a girl speaking to a boy, the past forgotten.
However, Vicky spoke... and something changed "...I really hated it when Camile did that, no matter how much I asked, she insists that she has the best lingerie and that I 'go to church' with her so that she can find the perfect lingerie to impress one of her many non-existent suitors....." Vicky paused and looked at you.
YOU CANNOT IGNORE THIS. YOU MUST MASTER YOUR SINS, YOU MUST ACCEPT THE DARKNESS.
You were lost, one moment your thoughts were clear, coherent... and then you started thinking, about it.
"Hey, are you listening?" Vicky prodded, but you remained silent. "Charlie? are you okay?" She reached out and shook you lightly.
Jolting you looked back at her, breathing heavily as panic filled you. Standing, you shook your head as images began to haunt your mind, sounds filled your ears, slithering, slashing power, darkness welling in your soul--you were hungry, so So sO SO HUNGRY, YOU WERE BIG AS THE SKY, AND HUNGRY AND ANGRY AND YOU NEEDED TO FEED, YOU NEEDED TO KILL.
"Hey, hey, look at me." She stood in turn, an awkward look on her face as she saw the manic look in your eyes, listening to you mumbling.
"How did it... Where are... what's this, so strange... but why did it? when does... no, no, no no no." You began to cluch your head as the sound grew louder, the darkness grew larger, blotting out the sky, filling the night with shadow.
"H-Hey, stop it. You're acting really weird." She pointed out rather obviously, Vicky wasn't accustomed to this behaviour, it was spontaneous and strange, slightly frightening, but when You suddenly turn to her, something changed.
Your mouth filled with saliva, staring unblinkingly at Vicky, feeling the pulsing of her veins, the thump of her heart that boomed like the drums at a feast, your fingers dug into your jeans with: KILL, FEED, KILL FEED, KILL FEED, BLOOD BLOOD BLOOOOOOOOOOD!
"STOP! STOP PLEASE, STAY AWAY, NO! NO!" You screamed, making Vicky fly away from you, as You ran to the corner, shaking as you clutched up into a tight ball, quaking in terror at the sudden bought of hallucination.
Vicky breathed heavily, looking you over. It was clear that she expected some sort of violent outburst, but instead saw your terrified, quivering form. "Charlie? what's going on?"
You did not speak, you could not speak.
"Charlie say something, You're... You're frightening me." But her tone changed, as soon as she saw tears rolling down your cheeks as You whispered a weak "I'm sorry, I'm sorry... this... must be scary, I'm sorry." You didn't want to scare her, you didn't want any of this, what was wrong with you? why did this keep happening... but you could not lie to yourself.
for too long you have abstained... the time has come, to stop suffering, and live deliciously
"ANCHOR."
Vicky softened and carefully moved forward, she looked a little awkward and hesitant, but none the less she crouched by you and placed a hand on your shoulder. You did not jolt, it was a comforting hand that pulled you closer, into a warm hug. Vicky felt so small in your arms, she stroked your hair gently "It's okay... it's alright." She comforted, a little off-handedly.
You felt tired and ****, the call had subsided, Anchor saw to that. resting your head on her shoulder, however, allowing yourself to relax, Vicky smiled a little to herself and hugged you a little tighter.
After a while, things grew strangely out of whack, Vicky picked you up and sat you down in the chair, she wiped your eyes and brushed off your arms. She had squeezed into a pair of yoga pants today, along with a pair of light boots, with a vest underneath a thick bomber style leather jacket. You felt the need to touch her, but swallowed the feeling low... again it flooded into your chest, that hunger and primal need, how you envied her, and hated her, and lusted over her. It was intoxicating, confusing, but it came in pulses, everytime her heart would swell with blood, the more difficult it was to remain focused.
"You're really creeping me out, you know." She whispered.
You smiled "And yet you're still here. Why?" Vicky fiddled with her fingers while you thought.
"She must feel something, how is she remaining so calm when I must smell and feel like danger to a regular person?"
Vicky slouched, reached up and let down her tightly tied back hair. It fell on her shoulders and she swept off her jacket, before wrapping it over your shaking shoulders.
"I'm not far off myself... I shouldn't have asked about your mother." She spoke, dripping in shame.
"That..." You didn't want to lie "Thank you, but don't feel guilty about it"
"How long has..." She hesitated "...How long has this been going on?"
"Since I woke up."
"Oh... and not before?"
You raised an eyebrow, and she reeled.
"Right... Amneisia. My bad. Do you, really not remember anything?" Vicky crossed her legs "Obviously everybody is talking about it, people are curious about you and the sudden change."
Sighing you rubbed your eyes "I remember everything before the past several months, when... My dad was killed."
Vicky went to speak but you found your thoughts slashing away at her questions.
"--Jormungandr, have you seen it before?" You found yourself asking.
"The giant monster? ...no, Dad and I managed to get into our panic room while it was rampaging through Sun-Valley in the east, we were lucky that it didn't destroy the mansion." She pondered.
"I've been thinking about it lately, no.... almost constantly, I don't mention it but, sometimes it's the only thing that I think about."
"Why?" She asked bluntly.
"I don't know. But I don't think it's good." You answered honestly, smiling weakly.
"Ugh, how come you always do that?" Vicky asked.
"What?"
"Smile, you always smile, even when you're upset, even when you're angry, it's weird." She pointed out, continuing to fiddle with her fingers, as you tried to ignore the fullness of her thighs and the sleek cut build of her torso, poorly hidden in her tank-top.
You laughed and lent into Vicky, making her flush at your voluntary closeness "My Pops always says: Always tempt your fate, with a little luck and a little smile. It's one of the only things in my life that I am certain is right."
Vicky smiled and rubbed her knuckles "What about... second chances, real second chances, do you belive in that too?"
"If I'm honest, not usually. I'm actually quite vengeful" You chuckled as Vicky frowned.
"Ugh, can't you see I'm trying? How long do we have to play these games before you kiss me? You kiss Izzy, she talks about it nearly 24/7... and now you're already thinking of going out with Millie, just... just please forgive me, you can punish me as much as you want, I don't care, I just have to hear you say it." She gushed softly and you found yourself smiling.
"Punish you, where did that come from?" You asked
Vicky became stiff, her tanned skin flooding with red... she was beyond beautiful in this light, it was so odd, it was like... after she took you into her arms, picked you up and put you in this chair, it became 100% harder to hate her.
"It's... nothing--Wait, no you know what, it isn't nothing." She kept pausing, as if she were trying to hype herself up "I don't know, I just, I keep having these fantasies about us and it feels like unrealistic expectations, but... I really really want you." Her voice became smaller and smaller.
You lent an elbow on the table "What kind of fantasies... dare I ask?" You closed your notepad, this wasn't something to add to the paper.
She shifted "It's... embarrassing."
"Try me." You could not help but press.
"Okay... all of my relationships are the same, mainly because I've only ever been with like... 3 guys but it's weird because, I'm usually the one in control, I had to drag Chaz around, and billy scott was so much of a pussy he wouldn't even touch me, he was too afraid of Chaz... ugh I told him we were separated at the time but... then I got back with chaz, and was equally unsatisfied, again. Then there was-"
"Liam fitcher, yeah I remember... You seemed, softer with him. You seemed softer with everyone but Chaz." You pointed out.
"Yeah, I told you, He makes me... bad, we aren't good together."
"And yet you dumped Liam for Chaz... again." You pointed out.
She frowned "Every time I had to drag them around..." Her brown eyes looked into yours like chocolate stars "Maybe, I want to be dragged around a little."
"She... wants to be submissive?"
By the gods, by the trees and the stone and the sky... Victoria the Queen Bitch Kaz wants us to play daddy.
"It's official, I'm in the fucking twilight zone."
"So what, You want _Me _to order you around?" You asked.
Her legs rubbed together and she bit at her dark lips "Yeah. I guess."
"And You'd do whatever I tell you to do?" You prodded, testing to see if this was somekind of dream.
"Anything you want. I mean... as long as it isn't throwing puppies off a bridge or something."
You blinked is this real life? is this just fantasy?
"Okay..." You needed to test the waters, jesus christ YOU WERE EXITED! SO MANY IDEAS, SO MANY JUICY JUICY IDEAS. "How do I know you're serious about this? and that this isn't just another elaborate scheme to fuck me over?"
Vicky stood up resolutely "Literally ask me anything, and I'll do it, even... if it makes me a little uncomfortable, I... I really want to try and just... not be in control for once."
You'd start small, something to get an idea of how serious she was. "Fine then, go into the bathroom over there, and..." You paused in thought "Clean off your make-up."
Vicky hardened like a boulder "What?"
"Go into the bathroom and remove your make-up. I want to see what you look like?" You prodded evilly.
Clearly not anticipating this, she frowned and shifted.
"You could always deny me, but that wouldn't be very submissive of you."
Victoria shot up to her feet, glaring at you challengingly as she jabbed you with one of her well manicured nails "Don't move a muscle." She warned before taking her jacket from your shoulders and marching out of the booth.
And boy did you wait with anticipation.
After the minutes went by, your mind started to work, and inexplicably, You found yourself drawing out your smartphone and downloading... a certain app.
You fiddle around in your pocket, dexterously connecting the small device hidden there in your pocket.
Are you..... OH GOD I LOVE OUR THINKING.
"Buzz buzz little Bee."
Your hand was retrieved as Your ears caught the sound of quick, very shy footsteps rushing towards the cubical you were in. She sure took her time, it had been roughly ten minutes according to your watch.
Still, you watched as a tall and lean form flrew through the cubical door, closing it promptly behind her. Her breath boomed out of her dark lips, her smoothface wrought with distress, she scrambled over and sat in the chair, looking at you angrily with baggless sharp eyes.
Vicky slapped her hair out of her face and scowled like a wolf "that pizza-face Libby taylor just nearly fucking saw me, jesus christ... I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Ugh this sucks--Will you stop staring at me like that!" She snapped.
You blinked... until she'd spoken, it was like a different girl in the same clothes walked in.
She was entirely different in fact, the girl in front of you didn't look like Americas next try hard model... she didn't have subtle shadow to capture her dark eyes, she didn't have the glossiness on her lips, and the dark tone of her foundation had been knocked away.
In front of you now, was an abnormally cute and very gentle looking girl, with a flawless complexion -- her stoic beauty lost, replaced with a much softer and more humble one.
You found yourself smiling at her.
"What? don't you dare make fun of me!" She growled.
You shook your head "I just... I didn't expect much of a difference..." You said in suprise.
Victoria's face twisted "That's it!" She went to get up, but your hand caught her, and gentle reasured her to sit.
"Come on, sit down... I'm sorry that really isn't what I meant, you look... it's hard to describe, You just feel, a lot more Human." You grinned.
"Human?" She asked. "If I wanted to strut around without make-up, with the amount of effort it takes... I wouldn't come to this school."
You shook your head "Are you serious?" Was she shitting you, was this Bitch blind?
"Stop trying to make me feel better, I don't need reasurance, I look better with the make-up on, that's it."
You lent in and captured her with your eyes, speaking with a cast-iron assurance "You are stunning, you always have been, even while you tormented me, I'd be more mesmerized by how pretty you actually are than your threats. But now, without that screen of bullshit all over you, I have to say, that I really don't know if I could stand seeing you any other way." You admitted honestly.
An air of quiet came about her, as she studied your face for lies "Bullshit."
"God's honest truth." You shot back.
Vicky shifted again, touching her nails, pushing back her hair again "...Are you happy now, this is gonna take like half-an-hour to fix."
"No... it won't."
She pressed her tongue against the roof of her mouth, hissing as she kissed her white teeth "Yes. it will."
"Look, against all odds I'm actually trying to help you here-"
"The Make-up goes back on, that's the end of it." She growled, folding her arms and sealing up like an iron maiden, her spikes piercing her insides and making her look even more forlorn.
You sat back, looking at her, still scarcely able to believe that it was her... looks like this would be a challenge after all. Negative intentions were the last thing you harboured with this, it would be a first... but a necessary first if you wanted to actually break through to her.
"You're the first person from school to see one of my... attacks, you know." You pointed out softly "You moved so quickly to help, it's strange sure but, It was soothing and it could have been a lot worse. You helped me, for the first time, now please let me help you."
The hard exterior began to crack, splitting apart to reveal the smallest of holes "You... think I look better without it? You mean that?" She asked sternly.
"I think you look good in make-up, but you look stunning all on your own." A silver tongue was just as dangerous as a silver sword.
Cracks turned into great wedges, huge arches, as Victoria weakly huffed "You know how much my image means to me -- I'm making a big jump here."
"Well if we're going to work together... possibly, spend intimate time with each other, then I'd rather see you at your best."
Her walls turned to ash "Ugh, fine... but just today... for now, If you want me to not wear it... then, I'll try not to so much anymore."
You smiled deeply "Thank you, Vicky."
Her shoulders fell and she allowed her irritation to fade. Her fingers drew circles in her palm, she kept batting her long midnight lashes at you, unable to look away for too long. You were just the same of course, she was unimaginably cute.
"I was thinking about you yesterday." Her voice was light and smooth like butter, deep and alluring "About if we could ever really work."
You could smell the scent of her perfume, light and fruity but exotic like plums and pineapples.

Her eyes were so dark, black as an abyss that stared back and struck at your heartstrings. Vicky slipped in and pecked your lips quicker than a flash, she pulled back only a little before rushing back into peck your lips again, her hands touching at your strong collar.
She hovered close to you, You searched and searched and searched for some kind of sign that this was a mistake, that you were doing something wrong, something that would ruin your life... but you found nothing, the slate was finally clean.
Slowly, carefully, You moved in and met Vicky's lips which embraced you entirely. She was incredibly warm, her body pressing into yours, arms wrapping around you for dear life. Vicky teased your mouth with her tongue, and it was welcomed swiftly, as the animal within began to writhe.
Your hands became curious and active, running along her light torso, slipping inside of her coat, You began to massage her thighs, caressing her hips as she crunched inwards, moaning softly into you in appreciation of the contact.
That's when she pulled back, ever so gently, sucking in her lips and smiling "You know they have cameras in here." She whispered.
"Umm-hmm." You hummed, completely lost in her.
"It's scary... how irresistible you are."
"Why resist, when you can live Deliciously?" Your whisper was venom, it seeped out of you, even unconsciously, Victoria Kaz didn't stand a chance.
Thank the gods for the Allure.
Vicky grinned ear to ear, her tongue traced the inside of her mouth "Do you... wanna get out of here?" She asked slightly.
The air cracked with the sharp and merciless sound of the bell, that struck against your ears like a gong, making your teeth buzz. "Looks like we're gonna have to anywho."
She put on a childish frown "Tease."
While an even wider grin appeared on yours as You reached into your pocket and brandished the contents "You ain't seen nothing yet, girly."
