Meg's face burst into a huge grin, and a tear started forming in her eye. Abruptly, she grabbed you in a big bear hug, and you couldn't help but be taken off guard by her new relative strength.

"I can't believe it... Jake I've felt the same way... I always had a bit of a crush on you since we met, though I always worried I wasn't enough to keep your attention. But when I outgrew you for those few months it sparked something in my that I couldn't shake. Being taller than you made me feel so confident, like somehow I knew I'd always have your interest, and there was always such a thrill it gave me looking down at you."

"But when I lost my height advantage I got more insecure and didn't want to risk our friendship. I tried to ignore my feelings and just be content as friends. That's why I felt so worried just a moment ago, I thought that I'd somehow willed this to happen... That I was making you shrink against your will."
