Approach the mist

You approach the blue mist. It remains in place, blocking your path forward... but you can hear something on the other side... a familiar sound of a woman's faint moan, followed closely by a deep masculine groan, and the unmistakable wet sound of skin slapping against skin. The painting of the angel remained behind you, as did the door at the other end of the corridor. To the right of the blue mist was the pale door. Of course, you always had the option to return to Loraine's room and wait for her return.
