Wonder Woman came crashing in through the ceiling! (DC)

Jack was sitting behind the counter at his dead-end minimum wage retail job, some small grocery store hidden in the corner of nowhere Metropolis. Time to count the ceiling tiles again, he thought to himself.

Suddenly a massive crash echoed throughout the store as the building shook. It happened a second time, almost knocking him off his feet. The third time the building shook, something happened, a figure went sailing through the air and slammed into an aisle, knocking the shelves over.

"Shit!"

He ducked underneath the counter, was it redundant to dial 911 if there was a superhero battle going on? Probably. He risked a glance over the top of the counter, seeing another figure levitate down into the store, it was a tall man with dark hair and a black body-suit with a lighting bolt on it. Black Adam, one of Shazam's villains. What was he doing in Metropolis?

The person that crashed into the store stood up, ragged, their gait unsteady as they adjusted their stance. Taking a closer look (unfortunately he's still a hot-blooded man), he saw that this person was VERY much a woman, the woman one could argue. With her long lustrous dark hair, her *ahem* shapely figure, and the costume sporting the colors of the American flag, this could be none other than Wonder Woman.

Now why was Wonder Woman fighting Black Adam? Or was it the other way around? Where was Shazam? Where was Superman?!

As all this was running through his brain, he looked up to notice Black Adam winning again.
