Hesitantly at first

The elf blushed more deeply at his words, screwing her eyes shut and moving her face slowly towards his, delicate pink lips puckered. The sight of her, nervous but forward, flipped a switch in Reader. He put his hand on the back of her slender neck and met her halfway, massaging her tense lips with his own.

It was, he was quite sure, her first kiss. She squeaked a little when their lips first met, seeming to freeze in place for a second before shuffling towards him, trying to maximise the places their bodies touched through the heavy stiff dress she wore. Reader took his time with the kiss, enjoying being her first, enjoying feeling her learn from him, learning how to enjoy herself while giving him pleasure. Her eyes were very wide by the time he pulled back.

"I'll make sure she gets it", he whispered into one of her engorged ears, producing a sound from her partway between a moan and a whimper.

"But, um... what's her name?" he added, realising he hadn't gotten that yet. "And I on't think I know yours yet either", he added.

"Her name is Harnara," the girl responded, sounding far more at peace than before the kiss. "She's a lamia blacksmith. She has a shop at the corner of peach and eggplant." She paused, then added, "Mine is Alyza Lougher" with a shy giggle. She mostly avoided his eyes as he donned the tracksuit he'd appeared in, but he caught her sneaking glances and biting her lip.

"Myaster, why are we delivering a kiss to miss Harnara?" Reader's nekotsune pet asked as they made their way down the busy street. Alyza had given him a map which he occasionally consulted, not wanting to risk being misled while he was still first level.

"I'm about to level up", Reader explained. "And Kat left me with a pretty serious debuff. I'm hoping leveling will reset it, so I'm doing something fairly safe now, in order to get over that hurdle. Fetch quests are easy. They give you a chance to experience the setting without too much risk. It's kind of nice, isn't it?" he asked, taking in the town's medieval-art-deco architecture and diverse citizens, most of whom were still covertly shooting him admiring glances.

"Be nicer if the weather weren't so bad!" Reader's pet grumped.

"I'm guessing that's the luck debuff at play..." reader opined. "Let's try and find this Harnara without too much delay".
