Chapter 95 by lew54321 lew54321

Do you chicken out?

I’ll make a man out of you

Although the thought kept nagging you, you quickly shook your head and dismissed it as soon as it tried to take hold. Emma had helped you with so much today and you weren’t about to run away with your tail between your legs just because you were getting a little nervous. You steeled your courage and kept your legs moving past your house and towards Emma’s.

You escorted her to her door and it seemed to finally dawn on her about the significance of the event. You both leaned in as you kissed her on the lips and although this wasn’t the first time you had kissed, you still felt all the same emotions exactly as if it was for the first time. Eventually, the two of you separated and you got to see Emma’s blushed face which sported a small smile, almost making you want to kiss her all over again but you somehow found the willpower to stop yourself. Your heart was racing enough as is and you didn’t think you could handle another long kiss at the moment.

“You wanna come in?” Emma announced before quickly realising the connotation of her words. “Err I mean do you wanna just hang out, I didn’t mean anything by it if you thought that…”

“It’s fine” you reassured. “I have to get home anyway so we can hang out another time” you continued, getting a relieved look from Emma before she looked a little downcast at the thought of you leaving.

“I promise I’ll come round tomorrow after school” you said, getting her to cheer up a little.

“Okay” she replied, getting her keys out and unlocking her front door.

As she unlocked the door, you both saw a pair of legs scramble up the stairs as if to avoid being caught snooping and with only one possible person left in the house, you both knew who they belonged to. The shapely legs and ass that jiggled as she ran also didn’t do her any favours but it was a good sight to behold. Emma gave a sigh at her mother’s almost childlike actions and just decided to ignore her for the time being as she went to make her way inside.

“I guess I’ll see you tomorrow” she sighed as she walked through the door.

You didn’t want to leave her in this melancholic mood so, in the spur of the moment, you put your hand on her shoulder and when she turned around to face you, you gave her a quick peck on the lips.

“It’s a date” you replied with a smile as you watched her surprised reaction before attempting to make a confident getaway. The fact that you almost walked into one of the pillars of her porch didn’t help much but you were in too good of a mood for it to bother you as you moved away from her house.

You made it out of Emma’s line of sight and cut across the front garden and headed for your door. You had been too distracted by your earlier kiss dilemma to notice but your fathers car was still missing from the curb and a quick check of the KDK showed that his distance was at least a few towns over by now. You had expected him to be further away to be honest but you didn’t really care so long as he wasn’t planning on coming back to the house any time soon.

Both the family car and Lucy’s were still where you had last seen them so you took that as a good sign that people were in the house as you unlocked the door and made your way inside. You could hear the TV on in the living room and popped your head around the corner to see Lucy still watching TV.

“Have you actually moved since I left?” you asked, startling her as if she hadn’t heard you come in.

“Jesus! Don’t sneak up on me like that. And no, I got up and made some dinner earlier” she replied, calming herself down before she spoke again.

“How’d the date go lover boy?” she asked with a smirk, trying to get under your skin after scaring her.

“It went fine” you replied, walking a bit further into the room.

You tried to stop yourself from giving her too many details at the moment and although you planned to reveal stuff soon, you thought she would somehow try to use it against you if did it was when she had you alone. You still had the potential **** of knowing she secretly had a college boyfriend which you could reveal to Mom at any time but that also came with the caveat that you would need to be open with your own love life if you didn’t want that being turned against you.

“Good good” she answered, turning her attention back to the screen once she realised that you weren’t going to elaborate.

The TV was showing some low effort reality TV that didn’t really interest you in the slightest. You hadn’t expected Lucy to watch anything like that either but she seemed to be looking at her phone more than the TV, scrolling through social media with only a glance away from her screen every once in a while.

You wanted to hang around for a bit longer but with the conversation not going any further, you thought it best to just leave Lucy alone for the moment and head up to your room. The fact that Mom hadn’t also been spying on you alongside Grace made you think that she had already come back home before you. You weren’t sure exactly where she was but for once, you felt that it was necessary to remove as many distractions from your room as you could. Inviting Mom into your room now that your father wasn’t in the house could hopefully be saved for later as you felt no rush to progress at the moment.

It also seemed that Sarah still wasn’t around and was most likely still hanging out with her cheerleader friends now that she had her phone to contact them personally. The house seemed quieter than usual without her in it but you decided to try and make a positive out of it.

You had been putting off some of the homework from the classes you enjoyed the least and with less people in the house, now seemed to be the best time to get as much done without being interrupted. Getting it all done in one sitting would hardly be the most entertaining way to fill the rest of your afternoon but if you wanted to try and aim for any form of grant or scholarship, it would be best to start now while the idea was still fresh in your mind.

You spent the next few hours toiling away at the work and only stopped to get a drink from the kitchen or use the bathroom. Surprisingly, you managed to get it done quicker than you expected, whether it was just you underestimating your workload or the intelligence upgrade finally being put to good use but you couldn’t tell for sure if either were true. With the extra time, now seemed good to start researching your now decided career path and how you could lessen the financial burden for yourself if you were to go down this route.

Even more time had passed by as you did so and a knock at the door was what finally stopped you. The time on your phone showed that it was later than you expected and you turned away from your desk to look and see who was there.

“Hey we’ve been calling you from downstairs. Come on dinner’s ready” they called out, finally getting your attention that had apparently been more focused than you thought.

Who’s come to get you?
