A Dalish delegation comes

A full three months had passed since you gave the Avvar and Chasind lands to stay in, and despite initial difficulty in acclimatizing to their new homes and societies, they have managed to adapt for the most part. Still, this did not mean there weren't spats and arguments from time to time, despite sex being a great binder of peoples.

You see the familiar face of Keeper Lanaya as she enters your throne room, kneeling before you.

"Andaran atish'an, Inquisitor Surana," She said, "I wish this were under better circumstances, but I must discuss a matter of import with you."

"Alright then, speak," You said.

"Yes, of course," Said Lanaya, "I must immediately say that we need Inquisition support against bandits encroaching the area."

"Of what kind?" You asked, "Renegade Mages and Templars?"

"Regretfully, rogue Dalish that have begun attacking us," Said Lanaya, "Clan Harron came upon our community once and immediately declared hostilities against us, launching sproadic raids and attacks that have claimed a few of our clansmen. They say we are heathens and heretics who betray the spirit of the Dalish, unworthy of our lives."

"This is very odd," You said, "How many troops does Clan Harron have?"

"A rough two thousand, not a large army," Said Lanaya, "But they have somehow begun summoning many magical creatures we've had trouble fending off, and they're the main enemy we've been defending against."

"If I may ask, Keeper Lanaya, what sort of creatures are they?" Asked Solas.

"They are Halla-like, with Elven-upper bodies and armed with magical spears and arrows," Said Lanaya, "And they hold great command over nature itself."

"I see," Said Solas, "Thank you, that will be all."

"And might we discuss things in private elsewhere, Inquisitor?" Asked Lanaya, "This is for your ears only."

You nodded and her, and you whispered to Solas, "We'll talk more about the creatures later."

Solas nodded silently in acknowledgement.
