”Well then I guess there is nothing left but to take the leap .” I said. “Let's go.”

With my hands firmly clamped in place. I slipped slided and walked as fast as I could to the door as the girls all whistled and cheered and the guys just laughed. Maddie followed close behind me true to her word. So close she ran into me when I came to a sudden stop in front of the door to the locker room.

“Sorry she said.

“You really were watching my butt the whole time, so much so you didn't even know we reached the door.” I teased.

“I said I would.” She said with the same teasing tone. “And I might add it was a pleasure.”

“I'm glad I could entertain you, but could you get the door?” I asked.

“Oh right sorry. She said embarrassed. “I am used to guys getting the door for me. I should have totally realized. Plus honestly I really was distracted by your butt.”

“Well I promise I will get the next door for you.” I said as I ducked in the door as she opened it eager to escape the prying eyes of the showers' occupants.

The locker room wasn't much better however as there were three girls and two guys inside and their eyes immediately all turned toward me. No chance there was a separate guys and girls locker room now. Of course the one and only door in and out of the showers had pretty much confirmed that already.

I kept my head down in embarrassment and headed for my locker as Maddie followed close behind.

“you don't have to follow me the whole way if you don't want to.” I offered.

“Don't be silly I am not in a rush. It's Saturday and besides my locker is this way as well.” She said. “I wanted to be in the corner far away from the guys that were here at the time. In fact I think I'll just come from my room straight here in my bathing suit from now on and avoid being in here. The guys kind of creep me out if it wasn't for the cameras here and in the showers there is no way I would feel safe in here.”

“Cameras.” I said surprised and then groaned as I looked up and saw sure enough they were there.

“Yeah, they say it is for the girl's safety. Security guards are supposed to be watching our every move. It is one of the reasons why all of the girls wear bathing suits.”

"Oh!" I say dumbly, not knowing what else to say. Why don't the guys get any of these memos?
