Erika, the Celadon Gym Leader

Your stomach turns, it can’t be. The gym leader of Celadon City is here in the depths of the Team Rocket Hideout? There’s no mistaking her, you’ve spent years watching her on tv during any of her appearances. Hell, you even saw her on stage yesterday at the opening ceremony for the Rookie Tournament.

The short black hair, the grey eyes, here you were face to face with one of your heroes. And it’s far from the dream come true you’d always imagined. Vileplume is at her side, you can see it releasing a pink spore into the air. The hallway filling with the sweet scent. You try to cover your face with your shirt, not trusting to breathe in the cloud.

“Just surrender,” Erika suggests, continuing her entrance into the hallway.

Your head is spinning, is it the new cloud of spores? Or adrenaline, mixed with the spin tiles, and the **** of being hit by multiple attacks. “Let us go, we won’t say anything. I swear,” you plead through your tattered shirt, holes ripped by the bubbles or singed by the flames.

“Oh dear, that’s not how this is going to work. I’m going to take you in, the question is whether or not I’ll beat you first.”

A chill runs down your spine at the venom in her words. You can’t give in now, you have to beat her and get back to your friends. You’ve trained for this, granted it would be easier in a gym setting but you also have the limiters in place. So it’s go time.

Trapinch has a bad type match up, but he’s the only member of your team that is at full health. “Sand tomb,” you tell him as he appears. The thick pink cloud is disturbed by the flowing sand, giving up a little more breathing room. While Vileplume dodges the attack, you command Trapinch to dig.

Digging gives Trapinch the best chance at avoiding any damage, but before he reappears Erika orders a razor leaf. What is she doing? You realize too late, as the leaves slice against you. Your shirt is ripped further, and your arms and legs not covered in cuts alongside the burns.

Trapinch reemerges, his attack landing on the gym leader’s pokemon. “Giga drain,” she says, as she throws out another pokeball. A Sunflora appears next to her. Is she switching pokemon? No, Vileplume is still attacking, and now Sunflora is charging a solar beam.

You had forgotten that you’re still fighting Team Rocket, even if it looks like Erika. The fight is going to be dirty, so you might as well reciprocate. Wartortle reappears to join the fight.

Your pokemon try their best at dodging the incoming attacks. Landing a few bulldozes or bites. Water pulses blocking razor leaves. Mud slaps knocking down draining orbs. “You’re doing quite well, it’s a shame your on the wrong side,” Erika says, as her Vileplume is knocked out by the combined efforts of your team. “Sunflora, now.”

A blinding light flashes and after Wartortle and Trapinch are knocked out. Shit. You return your injured partners to their balls. Tingle and Bellossom are in rough shape still, and Runt is poisoned. You doubt you could get Slaking to follow your orders enough to get out of this.

You and Erika both throw out another ball. Sunflora already charging another blast. Runt is overshadowed by Erika’s Tropius. The towering pokemon barely fits in the corridor. You and Runt had practiced a special move in preparation for your gym battle. She’d managed to pull it off a couple times but it’s not full-proof yet. Then again you still thought you had time before this would come up.

“Runt, you’ve got this. Ice fang.” Her teeth coat in a thin layer of ice, her breath fogging up as the water in the air condenses. She charges forward.

Tropius flaps its wings, a gust of air pushing Runt back. She braces trying to continue forward. Sunflora is still charging at Erika’s side. You release Tingle to your side, he’s hurt but hopefully can still help support.

The small spider follows your order, hitting the Tropius with a thunder wave. The slowing of his wings, gives Runt the opening she needs. Her ice coated teeth sink into the grass type dinosaur.

Tropius roars in pain. It tries to stomp at the Mightyena attacking it. But Runt is fast underfoot, and lands another ice fang. Tropius slumps. “Now get Sunflora,” you shout. Her maw still ice cold, she lunges at the other pokemon.

Another blinding light flares, you cover your eyes. Runt is down, but the enemy Sunflora is down too. Runt’s teeth are still sunk into the grass pokemon.

“Color me impressed. How much longer can you last?” she asks. Not long, your team is all but defeated. She reaches for another pokeball.

“Tingle, electroweb,” you command. If she’s going to fight dirty so can you. The electrified webbing hits her hand. She drops to her knees in shock. “Again.” Another flurry of webbing, glues her hands to the ground.

“You bitch. You still won’t get away,” she hollers from the ground.

Your heart is still racing. Did you really just beat Erika? You recall your injured pokemon, ready to retreat back upstairs to rejoin John and Daisy.

“Don’t you want your badge?” Erika calls out as you turn to leave. You look back, she nods down at a Rainbow Badge clipped to Erika’s chest.

You walk over to her and grab your prize. The badge comes loose, and Erika’s top falls open. Her chest fully revealed to you in that moment. You swallow staring at the gym leader’s breasts. She smiles, before shaking her head. Her hair ripples, a new wave of pink spores hit you in the face.
