An abrupt exit

"Now. My que-," Harper began to ask, but was cut off by the sight of the man getting up and beginning to take off. He seemed more startled now than he did when the creature was alive. How strange.

"Where are you going?!" She shouted as she got to his feet, but he barely reacted to her question.

"You go to Greendale right? Tell the counsellor there youre the one she's looking for. Now. I have to go."

'Counsellor? Ms. Crawford? What a strange thing to say,' she thought, but had to put that on hold. She couldnt let him go without one last question.

"Whats your name?" She shouted. This time he did stop, turning his head ever so slightly to meet her own eyes. His face had gotten muddied from his tumble over the grave, bestowing his appearance a certain ruggedness Harper found rather attractive. Or maybe that was because he had just saved her life.

"Call me Griff," he said. And then he was gone, leaving Harper alone and bruised in the graveyard.

After a few moments spent catching her breath, she finally got back to her feet and checked the time on her phone. Great. School was about to start in an hour and she was about that far away from greendale. So much for sleep.

With her destination in mind, she set off, knowing she was about to have quite a curious conversation with the school counsellor.

This was going to be one hell of a day.
