They started walking through the streets, Jett actually taking charge. "Just follow my lead here," he told Esther. "I learned a few tricks to navigating these Worlds. First thing's first, we need to find a pawn shop in a seedy area."

"Why?" Esther blinked.

"Money, duh," he deadpanned.

"Pssh, we got plenty of that, we make quite a bit using our powers back in our world," she snorted.

"Yes... But our currency is not the same as here," he replied. "And seeing as it's alien to this world, there's no exchange place for it, they'd probably just think it's play money from some kind of game."

"...okay, good point. But why a seedy area?"

"Because we also lack proper identification for this World, which more reputable pawn shops tend to require, so if stock ends up being reported stolen, the police can track down the seller. Ergo, we need a less reputable place to sell to that does not have that requirement."

"...huh, you're good at this," she blinked.

"I've had a bit of practice at it," he replied.

"Right... But what are you going to sell?" He simply grabbed at the air again as they entered an alleyway, and tore another rift in space. He then reached in, and pulled out a handful of jewelry, and gemstones.

Seeing her questioning look, he stated, "Small pocket dimension I store things in. As for where I got these in the first place... I basically entered a world of pirates, used my abilities to get on a ship, into their treasure room and robbed them blind, though the captain barged in just as I was leaving. Looked like a clown actually."

"That's not very nice," she giggled.

"...that wasn't figurative. The guy looked like a literal clown. Red nose, white gloves, shoes, all he was missing was the suit, and makeup, he was dressed like a pirate captain otherwise."

"...the hell kind of pirate world did you go to?"

"Beats me, I just wanted easy money, and focused on ending up on the property of someone I could easily rob and pawn the stuff of, and who deserved to be robbed, that's where I ended up," he shrugged. "And seeing as the guy looked about ready to cut me to pieces, I wasn't exactly keen on sticking around to ask questions. At any rate, these should fetch us enough money to get around here. Even without currency to trade in respective worlds, I can usually count on gold and precious gemstones being worth a lot. Not like they'd know or care where it came from as long as it's authentic."

"Good point... Then what?"

"Then we go to a public library, get online and find a fairly famous and pretty hero with a Quirk we can make use of, use the Sex Note to get her in a **** position where we can take her DNA, you copy her from it, we enslave the copy, and go from there."

"Ah, I love a good plan," Esther grinned, rubbing her hands together.
