"There, was that so hard?" Alan said with a smile. He went to get his keys, keeping his eyes on Lauren the whole time. That was the first time he'd ever heard Lauren say 'please, with all she demanded from his as a landlord. He found Lauren's room key. He held the door open.

"Well, come on." Alan said. "I'll let you in your apartment."

Lauren awkwardly squeezed past him, trying to keep her butt facing away. Alan led her to her room. Lauren hid behind Lauren the whole walk, forcing her to waddle awkwardly alongside Alan, who watched her with amusement the whole time.
