Next morning

The next morning, John was visited by the court mage, Victoria Morgan.

"You should not trust the Order of the Lake" Morgan said, "I know you went with Sophia and I know she works for them. These people are fanatics that burned my mother and sisters at the stake"

John wasn't sure if he could trust this woman anymore than the Order.

"I also know you are an incubus. Imagine what we could do if we ruled together?"

John met with Sophia who had returned to the castle at this point.

"Morgan warned me not to trust your Order"

"You should not trust her, I suspect she is a witch, at least 700 years old"

"Is my mother a witch?"

"I don't think so, she seems to just use slimes to remain young"

"Shall I take you to my bedchambers?" John asked.

"I'm afraid it won't be possible" Sophia said.
