How are the rooms assigned? How big is the Cabin?

Settling In

While Ashley and Hannah bickered over who would have the larger of the two master bedrooms the rest of the teens walked into the foyer. The sides suddenly flipped when Peter pointed out that the 'smaller' master bedroom would give them more privacy.

"So we getting a grand tour or we just gonna stand here?" Heather bumped Zack with her hips.

"Emm..." Zack stammered as he rubbed the back of his neck "Well this is the entrance-"

"Mmm" Heather murmured raising an eyebrow as if to say 'really? I would never have guessed,' while Madison, Victoria, and some of the other teens smiled in amusement or giggled.

"And that's the living room, the kitchen is over there," he pointed in the general direction, "and past the living room is the lake, and then..." Zack rambled from one room or area to the next with no apparent order and the others giggled or smirked while Heather just rolled her eyes.

"Bedrooms Bishop," Heather said a little frustrated from the rambling directions and tired from the almost three-hour drive, "Which one is my bedroom?" she asked.

Zack rubbed the back of his neck as he thought about it. He hadn't really thought about assigning bedrooms at all. He really just had in mind the den for himself and let the others pick and choose. Finally, he just said the obvious. "Em... well... we got three bedrooms upstairs, one downstairs, and the two master bedrooms they're fighting over but I guess they're taken. I'm gonna take the pullout in the den."

"You got roommates in mind for the bedrooms?" Heather asked Zack. "Or we gonna draw straws? Mix up the company? Maybe... Boys and Girls together?" she added and slyly winked at Zack. He nervously looked around wondering if anyone else had noticed, especially if Victoria had noticed what Heather had just said. Zack saw the surprised look on Victoria's face and guessed she didn't like the idea of being **** to share with someone. He quickly glanced around and saw that her expression was also mirrored on Chloe and Gavin. He also noticed that Meagan and Kurt both had mischievous grins on their faces. He knew Meagan wanted to share with one of the other girls but Kurt's grin made him feel a little uneasy but he decided that it was mainly because he just didn't know anything about the guy and he was probably amused by his cousin's antics.

Victoria looked surprised at Heather's idea. 'Is she flirting with him right in front of everyone? In front of Chloe?" she thought. Victoria knew Heather liked to tease and flirt with older guys but she rarely did it with their classmates, and when she did it was always to make them do her bidding or to turn it around and embarrass the guy and wondered if she was trying to do the same with Zack. Victoria thought this was going a bit too far even for Heather 'Is she trying to-'.

"Hell No! My sister is not sharing a room with a guy!" Brandon said and Zack saw how Madison rolled her eyes.

"Boring!" Heather quipped back crossing her arms, some of the others grinned or chuckled at Brandon's discomfort.

Still, most of them seemed to look at Zack waiting for him to make a decision and even Taylor seemed to nudge her chin at him as if urging him to take the lead and make a choice 'Why me?' he wondered. The worried look he saw on Victoria's face help him make up his mind 'If I go with Heather's idea Vicky's gonna think I'm trying to get it on with one of the girls, Peter always said I have to play it cool with girls and not look too ****.' he thought and decided to play it safe.

"Well... I'll take the pullout in the den down the hall, there's another one in the living room," he said knowing he might have to put up with any noise coming from the nearby bedroom that either Hannah or Ashley would take. "Chloe, you want the bedroom next to it?" to which Chloe nodded with relief. "And there are three bedrooms upstairs... you can spread out any way you like but first we got to put everything away in the pantry and storage room," Zack said as he moved to drop off his bag in his room.

"Party pooper." he heard Heather huff behind him picking up her bag and turning around to start looking at how the place was spread out and finding out which bedroom would be the best for her and her friends.

"C'mon Meg." Meagan heard Chloe say and she looked at her friend and mouthed 'WFT are you doing?' As she followed her friend to the hallway and whispered "How am I gonna get a crack at -"

"-Just a minute," Taylor said stopping everyone in their tracks. "Zack's right we got to put everything away and..." she started handing out brooms and mops to the girls "we got to clean up the place first. And your girls-" she added pointing to Chloe and Meagan who were about to turn the corner and slip away, "-help me out in the kitchen."

"Wh-What and I supposed to do with this?" Heather said looking at the broom in her hand.

"Start sweeping the floor" Victoria giggled at the look on her friend "You know... like we all do at home?"

"Yeah, I know how to sweep the floor," Heather said but still looked at the broomstick as if seeing it for the first time.

"Or you could stick it between your legs and fly home." Kurt whispered in her ears "I mean... you do know what to do with something long and hard between- OOFF." he gasped as a smiling Heather jabbed her elbow in his stomach.

*****

Madison and Victoria were finishing sweeping and dusting the rooms upstairs and had decided to enjoy the view on the deck. One look at this room with its walking closet and large bathroom and they both decided to claim it before Heather even found out about it and quietly brought their bags up and laid them out on the two beds.

"This is perfect to greet the sun," Victoria said spreading her arms and looking at the lake. The view was beautiful and somehow soothing to the blonde. Ever since she started the trip the uneasy feeling of being watched was gone for once. Spring was in the air with the fresh smell of pine, the moist air from the lake in her lungs, and the warm sun in her face made her feel at peace.

"You do yoga?" Madison asked her and when Victoria nodded in agreement she continued "Hey that's great! I do it to. Maybe we can stretch out and meditate together?" Madison asked. Her father and brother had scoffed at her decision to take up yoga but her mother had encouraged and even joined her in it. It wasn't just a great way to exercise and stretch out but the meditation also helped her calm her nerves and soothe the anger she felt with her father and brother and the double standards they held with her. She knew her brother just wanted to keep her safe from some creeps, especially 'his old friends', but he always took it too far and she had to find other ways to go around them all.

"That would be awesome," Victoria said. "It's so great to have someone to meditate with, Ashley and Heather are always so wrapped up with the squad and all."

"I know!" Madison said. "I am too, but after all that exercise I need to clear my mind and relax. Why do you do it?"

"The same thing." Victoria said, "The school paper and my parent's newspaper can be a bit stressful," she said. "You always have to be calm, always nice and smiling and trying to coax the answers from the people you interview and all that."

As they enjoyed the silence they heard the voices of Brandon and Trent on the other side of the roof but they couldn't exactly understand their voices. "You like any of the boys here," Madison asked tentatively.

"I don't think so," Victoria said wistfully. "I just broke up with my boyfriend over the summer, they moved away and a long-distance relationship wouldn't work."

"Maybe it's time to move on?" Madison offered.

"Heather been saying that for months and I've been thinking, I guess I should move on," Victoria said. "I hadn't really thought about it but seeing Peter here..," she trailed off.

"Looking for a spring fling?" Madison teased her.

"NOOO, I'm not that kinda girl. I want a boyfriend. You know, someone to hang around with, listen to some music, talk about school and stuff," Vicky laughed, "I just think he looks so... cute? mature?"

"I know what you mean," Madison said. "Older guys are more mature, and not that stupid and... they really know what they're doing if you know what I mean," Madison winked at Vicky who blushed, "but they're so out of touch with everything, I mean you want to tell them about school and stuff and they always look bored. The guys our age at least listen to the same music and you don't have to always explain who-is-who for the like millionth time."

"Yeah! Exactly!" Vicky said.

"So.. you thinking you might want to get to know one of the guys a little more?" Madison offered.

"Are you?" Victoria asked.

"Maybe," Madison said. She was about to say something else when they heard Ashley calling them from downstairs.

*****

"Two turns up," Gavin's voice came over the radio Trent held in his hands and watched Brandon give the satellite dish two turns up.

Trent and Brandon stood on the roof of the cabin helping Gavin with the satellite dish for their internet connexon. Brandon was aligning the dish while Trent held the walkie-talkie and passed the messages.

This place has a really great view." Trent said looking out across the roof of the cabin. The lake spread out from behind the cabin with most of the bedrooms in the cabin having a great view and two of the rooms even had a small deck. The front of the cabin faced the road and the forest and off in the distance they could see the start of the mountains far off.

"Sure does." Bradon agreed with him. "Lots of romantic places to sneak off with the girls."

"Oh, man are they gonna drop their panties for us!" Trent exclaimed and they high-fived each other. "You talked with Ashley?" Trent asked.

"Yep," Brandon said. "She said she'd think about it. I think she'll try for Vicky, but who knows,"

"Oh man, she's hot for sure." Trent agreed "She's got great tits and that ass..." He sucking in air through his teeth with a hissing sound. "Man that prime."

"I know." Brandon said "I'd love to bang her first chance I get. But if it's not her there is always Heather, she's pretty wild. Bet we can have a lot of fun with her too." Brandon didn't say it but he had dropped some hints and was hoping Ashley would give him a threesome someday, and both Heather and Vicky were at the top of that list.

"Sorry, One and a quarter turn down." the radio squawked.

"You mean... like we did with the cheerleaders from Copper Heights?" Trent said.

"Oh that was fucking great," Brandon said remembering the occasion.

"Wonder if it's true what they say about Hannah?" Trent asked.

"Sure is," Brandon said remembering what he had overheard Dylan and Shawn talking about once. "I mean... there're a lot of rumors," he added catching himself "some have to be true."

"Oh man if that's true you think her friend is also that wild?" Trent asked

"You like that brunette," Brandon asked.

"I like'em all," Trent said, "tall, short, Black, Asian, Brunette, Blonde, I especially like them bouncing on my dick!" He said pumping the air as if fucking someone "But seriously, her voice man... bet she got it from screaming while she fucking." both boys chuckled at the idea.

"One quarter turns left" came Gavin´s voice over the radio.

"Say..." Trent asked "Is Ashley anything like her sister? I mean would she go along with any fun like those other cheerleaders."

"Maybe," Brandon said stretching the truth and not wanting to sound too much like a prude with his friend. "I mean we've never gone that way but she's really good when we're together."

"Cool," Trent said.

"One-third turns up," came Gavin´s voice over the radio.

"This is bullshit, you know it?" Trent said. "It doesn't take this long to set up the cable tv dish."

"You heard what he said," Brandon answered him, "This is much more delicate, Internet connexon has to be exactly aligned with the satellite, you can´t just point it in the general direction."

"I still think he´s screwing with us," Trent said. "While we´re up here he´s down there with girls."

"Maybe," Brandon said. "But he knows how to do this and we don´t." To be honest with himself Brandon also thought it was bullshit but he had a soft spot for Gavin, feeling a little guilty about what he had done to Gavin in the past and willing to let it slip once in a while.

"Is he even straight?" Trent asked.

"I think so." Brandon answered him not liking the memories it brought back, "He tried flirting with my sister a few years ago."

"Yeah I remember," Trent said absentmindedly as he recalled the huge blowup it had caused.

"Yea, Not my best moment." Brandon signed "Besides, not as if he would do anything, I'll bet you Ashley's ass he doesn't know what to do with a girl."

"Yeah, your right." Trent agreed with him. "Probably saving up money for those Japanese sex robots," and they both laughed a the idea.

"Another half a turn left," Gavin said over the radio.

***

"Half a turn left," Gavin said over the radio and he snickered after he released the button.

"Gavin!" he heard someone call his name.

"AAHH!!" Gavin squealed in surprise and jumped in his seat, ripping the earbud out as he almost fell out of his chair.

Heather marched over to him with the rest of the girls tagging along and laughing as Gavin stammered and fumbled in his char trying not to fall off. "How long is it going to take to get the internet up?"

"It's, It's, It´s almost done." he stammered nervously.

"Well hurry up!" Heather ordered him "I just finished cleaning the whole cabin and you still haven´t got internet running. I thought you were good at this?"

"You cleaned the whole cabin?" Victoria said incredulously "You only swept the foyer."

"Same thing?" Heather scoffed.

"Hey, where is Brandon and Trent?" Ashley asked looking around.

"Gavin sent them to the roof," Madison giggled and Victoria soon joined her laughing.

"You sent my boyfriend to the roof?" Ashley said pointing to one of the columns at the entrance, "But... isn´t the mounting is just outside?" Gavin's eyes shot wide open like a deer caught in the headlights as he tried and failed to stammer a response.

Heather came up behind him and Gavin cringed when she placed her hands on his shoulders and looked at the computer screen. "Are you listening to Spotify?" she accused him. "How long have you had internet running!?" Heather fumed at Gavin who looked like he wanted to disappear.

"About an hour?" he offered meekly.

"You´ve had my boyfriend on the roof for an hour!" Ashley said not believing what she just found out.

"Sorry," Gavin said meekly while Madison and Victoria all laughed at the look on Ashley and Heather's faces.

Heather fumed at Gavin and her friends for a moment before she realized that Gavin was having fun at her expense but was screwing over Brandon and Trent. Heather started to chuckle at the thought of both football players stuck on the roof while Gavin surfed the web. She ruffled his hair and said, "Ok you had your fun now set up my phone, tablet, and laptop first and you better not screw with me."

From the kitchen, where Taylor and the rest of the girls were cooking or heating up the leftovers everyone had brought, they heard Taylor call out to everyone to help set out the table for lunch.

Everyone gathered around the table and talked about how to split the last few bedrooms while they rushed through their lunch, they were all excited about finally going out to the lake to swim and for some fun in the sun.

How does the afternoon on the Lake go?
