Report: In our ability to replicate the anomalous abilities of SCP-038 we developed a hand held device that replicates whatever is sampled. Disguised as a childs water gun the device takes a sample of the intended target and replicates a copy ready for use. The 05 council saw it as a good idea to create multiple D class operatives instead of the usual recruitment method. The hazrd SCP-038 proved was that the objects replicated would speedily age till the decompose into dust. We were able to slightly nullify the effects for 12 hours afterwards the object need to be treated with a ionic ray of a new sample every 12 hours.
