You led her back into the tent and put her back in the sleeping bag, you then zipped it up all the way so only her face was peeking out. Afterwards you took some rope and tightened the whole thing, in the end she looked a bit like a coccoon. Finally you put her on the bed and tied the whole package to the bed itself. Once you finished she could move nothing but her head. You then placed a bottle of water next to her with a bunch of stuck together straws so she could drink since it would become pretty hot. After that you walked out of the tent. You listened for a couple minutes to see if you could hear any struggeling but you could hear nothing so you went on your way.

As mentioned before you had little intention of actually capturing a girl today, you already had some bait to use back at camp in the form of Chloe so you just needed a good location to place her. Additionally you wanted to learn about the behavior of prey to hunt more focused. And finally you wanted to see if the prey density was higher here in comparison to your previous hunting grounds.

Whilst wandering and thinking about all this you heard a voice. As you snuck closer you could also hear the sound of flowing water. You eventually arrived at a river where you could see a woman filling up a bottle of water, she was wearing a thin white t-shirt. Whilst filling up the bottle she was softly humming.

You could sneak up on her from the bushes but you stuck to your original plan and decided to just follow her.

Once her bottle was filled up she stood up and walked away, you followed her closely for a few minutes until she stopped next to a tree. She then picked up a stone and some branches from the floor. She then placed the branches in a octothorpe (#) shape and placed the stone in the middle. After she was finished she moved on. Now that you saw this little construction you were pretty sure you had seen something simmilar before, however you never paid much attention to it and if you did it never seemed significant. Even now you had no clue about its purpose, probably a marker of some sort.

You continued to shadow the woman for another 15 ish minutes until she stopped in front of another tree, this time however there already was a marker. The girl sat down on a nearby rock and seeemd to be waiting for something. Was she waiting for somebody?

After a couple minutes of waiting your suspicions were confirmed as another woman stepped out of the bushes. She sat down next to the first and they started talking. A few minutes later another 2 showed up. Once a fifth and final girl arrived they started talking to each other. You couldn’t catch everything that was being said but you got most of it. They were mainly talking about places where food could be collected, locations where hunters had been spotted (no mention of you or your camp yet). And plans they had for aquiring points and how to spend them.

The only interest part was when one girl told the other about a hideout she had found with a woman in it. She asked the others if she could be invited to the group but was rejected. “We don’t even know what color she is, and we can’t risk her potentially being black”.

After that the girls started going away one by one, the girl you had followed so far pointed in the direction you came from and said the next meeting would be over there and that the meeting would be for trading and to take some stuff with her including food as the meeting would take a lot longer. You decided to follow a different girl as the one you had been following went back to where she came from. You followed her for a decent while until she climbed up a tree and went to sleep, she was pretty well hidden in the leaves and it would normally be hard to spot her, not even mentioning how quickly she climbed up and how hard it would be to reach her. If you looked closely you even saw some make-shift baskets up there so this was simultaniously her home and her escape route. After making a mental note of the location you decided to head back to camp the sun was starting to set and tomorrow would be a great catch if you played your cards right.
