Walking towards Pewter City

Of course, it doesn't take long for you to run into some lass who wants to fight you. You summon your metapod to fight her rattata. Metapod uses harden to strenghten its defence, while rattata tries to break through with a series of quick attacks and bite. In the end, all of rattata's effort is in vain as it collapses with exhaustion. You have defeatet he lass and metapod is evolving! After a few moments of intense energy-release, metapod has evolved into a beautiful butterfree. Great, you have a pokemon that will tear Blue's bulbasaur to shreds with bug-type and flying-type attacks!

You have reached the final, tree-lined road towards Pewter City. Of course, it is swarmed with bug-catchers. Seriously, why are there so many creeps with their nets hunting for bug-type pokemon? You will probably have to fight your way through these geeks! You just can't stand that thought, so you try sneaking past them by hiding in the tall grass that lines the road. What should have been a fifteen-minute walk, turned into ninety minutes of crawling and sneaking, but you managed to get past all the bug-catchers. Finally, you are entering Pewter City.
